Funny that people feel that "shopping for religion" is perfectly acceptable and yet also believe that THEIR beliefs in THAT religion are the "true" beliefs and the others are not. If there actually was a "right" set of beliefs wouldn't it be much more apparent? Wouldn't God make them apparent? The main thing that made me finally see the light was this fact, that my beliefs are largely, almost entirely, based on where I was born and by whom I was raised. If I had been born somewhere else in the world I would very likely have entirely different beliefs and I would feel just as strongly about them. So how can there be a "right" belief system? And how unfair would it be for God to condemn me for being born into the "wrong" religion? Remember: We do not choose our beliefs, generally. We are born into them.

God is able and willing to prevent and stop evil. He doesn't always. First of all, he wants people to have a relationship with him, but they think they can run their own lives without him. It's people that do evil things, not God. Didn't God just put a new good president in the oval office, and it will stop the evil that has been going on for the last 4 years. God has a plan for mankind, but people don't take the time to read the Bible and learn about our Savior Jesus. He died a horrible death for humanity, that he didn't have to do. If that isn't love, I don't know what is. We will all find out when our time comes. People need to repent and believe in Jesus Christ (God Incarnate) for the forgiveness of their sins. Those things you said about him come from listening to satan. That is the evil ones goal. To make people believe such things.

@@Barbara-be6bq You're delusional. There are plenty of times in the bible where God commits acts that would be considered evil if any of us had done them. Such as ordering the genocide of entire nations (including livestock, children and unborn), turning people into pillars of tabletop condiments (a.k.a. salt) just for looking backwards, and of course wiping nearly every living thing in a giant flood. But because God has no authority that he must answer to, he's free to do whatever corrupt things he wants, and we can only shrug our shoulders, turn a blind eye and pretend that his behavior is all fine. Otherwise he might throw a cosmic temper tantrum if we call him on it. So just remember...when millions of children are suffering slow, agonizing deaths from pediatric cancers and other illnesses, remember that God could instantly cure them, or at the very least - if he really wants them in heaven with him - could easily grant them an instantaneous and painless death instead. But hey, that's just God being "mysterious" again, right?

Anyone with a smattering of intelligence can read the New Testament, Old Testament, Quran, or whatever and incorporate age-old notions meant to better their lives... Religion relies on indoctrination for relevancy... Today, I'm almost 80 years old but still remember the story that I was told in my childhood about the boy who died after missing Sunday Mass and appeared to everyone at his funeral to announce that he should not be prayed for because he was in hell... Would 40,000 Palestinians of Gaza have died if generations of muslim children were NOT taught to hate the Jews in the middle east??? If you look it up, you will find that upwards of 200 million people have been killed in religious wars over the past 20 Centuries... For this fact alone, Religion has a lot to answer for...

God not only does not exist, God cannot possibly exist in any logical sense. God is claimed to be a conscious entity that created all that exists The idea of consciousness requires existence for that consciousness to exist at all, in that the idea of any entity capable of being conscious requires some existence to be conscious OF. If there is nothing to perceive, there is nothing to form concepts--the very things required to possess any form of consciousness. This certainly would then create a problem in the claim that logically, God was a conscious entity that created all that exists, wouldn't it? IN CONCLUSION The very things that god is claimed to have created, are the very things that were required to exist BEFORE God could ever logically exist Himself.

First of all God is no one's genie in a bottle that he should be expected to do anything for sinful man. He didn't have to go through the horrible pain and suffering of the cross either, but he did, and did it out of love. He says there is no excuse for not believing. All a person has to do is look around outside. I guess this universe came from that old stupid big bang, and created perfect order. Try having a relationship with Jesus, which is what he wants. Then people would have a different outlook about him. But no, alot of people are too busy wanting to run their own life and caring about things, money, fame, power and whatever else. Someday you will all know. Repent and seek Jesus while you can. People don't want to believe they will be held accountable.
