I’m a big fan of patterns too. As long as you have wings, CMs, strikers, and wingbacks, just about any pattern will adapt. And I totally agree with MSC justification for training these patterns, despite what the critics may say. Although the defensive landscape is constantly changing, practicing patterns shows players structure, roles, and choreography that will eventually break down a defense, at least a couple of times per game. It also helps to further define roles. The concept to me is similar to practicing set pieces-It won’t work every time but eventually you will surprise a defense and create real scoring chances.

More passing patterns help visualize the whole game for kids. Please give me some ideas of passing patterns for 4 -3 -3 system. or 4 -1 - 3 - 2 system.

I agree with the first commenter, while I will extrapolate these 4-2-3-1 ideas for a 4-3-3 in the interim, I would love to see what you provide for additional ideas on a 4-3-3.

I see you only have 9 outfield “defenders”, where would the 10th be located?

You could put them as a holding midfielder or change shape to suit preferences or scout.
