Highly recommend the sun bum face mist for sunscreen!! If you forget to put it on it’s super light and you can put it on top of your makeup/ reapply throughout the day.

The Ouai heat protect spray is great, but it does have a strong floral smell. I like it, but their reviews suggest some do not lol. It works beautifully though! Also, idk if you already take a magnesium supplement, but it really helps me to relax at night. I take my antidepressant in the morning, so the magnesium just helps my muscles relax. :)

Best heat protectant, I PROMISE: Paul Mitchell Hot Off the Press. It comes out like a hairspray (and acts like one) so the consistency is great and keeps flyaways at bay. This is for dry hair when straightening/curling.

Heat protectant wise, Try using the combo of r&co leave in conditioner, “Sun Catcher” and bumble and bumble’s “hairdresser’s invincible hair oil” !!! The oil isn’t heavy at all and neither is the leave in. I have super thick, naturally wavy/curly texture and it gives me really good shine and heat protection!

My favorite heat protectant is Hot Toddy from Drybar! I don’t like water based/watery heat protectants because I feel like they make my hair oily, but Drybar’s feels more like a dry shampoo! It’s an aerosol can and it’s super easy to use. Worth the money 100%

A tip to know if your heat protectant is doing it’s job is to spray it on the back of your hand, give it a few seconds to dry a little. Then get your blow dryer and point it at your hand while on the warm or hot setting. If you can feel the heat on the spot you sprayed, trash your heat protectant cause it’s not doing anything for your hair. If it is doing it’s job, You shouldn’t feel the heat in that spot, if anything it should feel cooler where you sprayed 🙂

Mary, I loved this video! I’ve been debating getting the Stanley Cup because I have a yeti that I drink out of every day but you’ve convinced me lol. One of my current favorites is BetterHalf by Califia Farms. It’s half coconut milk half almond milk and it’s one of the best alternative milks for coffee and tea that I found and I’ve tried a lot. I like that it’s unsweetened/unflavored compared to most dairy alternative creamers. I definitely recommend it especially if you’re trying to go more dairy free! 💓💓
