Not only do I love that you don't cover your spots in day wear makeup but I love that I can actually see your skin and spots in your videos. Seriously I don't know what your filling set up is but it's so great. Some makeup youtubers I've noticed use such bright lights that their skin looks so bright and perfect from the start and they'll say " now I'm going to conceal my pimples" and I'll be like where??? What pimples? haha

I love the one eyeshadow look - sometimes I'm just too lazy to add other colors. :D And I totally agree with the spots, caking on make-up for everyday is a bit too much - besides it needs more effort and time - and who has that in the morning. :D Loved the grunge look, too - I do smoke out my eyeshadow when I look tired, too! That way I fool people into thinking that I look that way on purpose and not that I haven't had any sleep. :D Amazing looks, Emma!

This *so* jives with me right now. Hitting winter weather and now popping occasionally into Spring again, my skin just hasn't been contented with any one routine, and neither has my sleep. I have 2 foundations I tend to alternate - one is a match for my paleness, but I tend to need to toss in some contour/bronzer to keep from looking deathly, and the other is a fuller-coverage one that oxidizes a tid darker than my neck/chest, so I try to dab on a really pale concealer through the center of my face. Pale girl problems or just feeling lazy? Plus, I used to love to have my "zen time" of picking an eye look for the day as part of my morning routine, but lately I'm barely doing more than making sure to prime and powder to cover vein-age and keep from creasing. I try to at least run a deep brown along my outer lashes for definition (blonde eyelashes + glasses...), but I miss the quick impact a deeper lid color can give. I may have to see if one of my metallic brown/bronze colors would work as well. I've actually even been breaking out more than usual recently - depends on the day if I want to cover them much or not. Augh, Emma, how do you get me so well?? Lovely vid, and if I haven't mentioned recently, your brows are filling me with all the envy. A straight, clean, but still bold and natural brow looks so chic, a little bada**, and has that touch of imperfection that I adore.

I really like the idea of using a darker shade of foundation first to get a nice bronze-y and subtly contoured look later. No more spending an eternity on contouring and highlighting! :p You'd have to be careful to avoid it just looking like you've got the wrong shade on, especially around the jawline, but I think it's something I'm going to try anyway. also, that gif is just too cute x3

+Kasey Brown I'm glad! :D Make sure the eyeliner is sharpened enough so there's enough product between the wood/plastic of the pencil and your skin (so you don't scratch yourself!) and then you can either lift the lid and tilt your head back so you can see the waterline in the mirror then apply, or do what I do and place the pencil in the outer corner then just close your eye on it and run it across and go by feel. The second option seems scarier but I honestly stab myself in the eye and flinch a lot less that way haha. Like with everything, practice makes it easier. Good luck! :)

Sometimes I noticed shades can differ from country to country for the same product. Like Urban Decay's fair foundation becomes a bit darker in some countries I purchased them in.

+Nimetön Henkilo It hasn't gone anywhere but like I mentioned in my update video, I want to make full characters with the whole costume and background etc and become more involved in the cosplay world instead of only creating things from the shoulders up for these videos, if that makes sense? :) A lot of the characters I want to do involve prosthetics to be how I imagine them in my head and I've only had the stuff to make prosthetics with for the past month or so, so I'm still learning. I just can't make things now knowing I could do them way better in the future. I really hope I'm making sense and not just rambling haha. Basically if I were to do the ideas I have now, they would turn out shit because I don't have to stuff to do them to the best of my ability, so I'd rather wait until I can do them justice instead of rushing and hating the outcome and myself. :') Sorry for the essay haha.
