Yeah! It’s my girl! I can’t believe givenchy ruined that powder. That powder had been around for a very long time and to change it when people finally were using it. Crazy. Sisley’s Iris has been my favorite but I didn’t want to use it every day so I’d use the Givenchy.

Allana you need to work with MOB beauty and create a nude beige shade! Have you heard of them? Vic was the original chemist for MAC. He recently created M1990, it’s the original shade of MAC spice from the 90s before they changed it and it became so much warmer. They work with creators all the time to recreate their favorite discontinued shades.

If you haven’t tried the Ami Colé setting powder, I find that one works super well for my dry skin and is really blurring for my pores. And it’s already a talc-free formula.

Nikki La Rose says that the best dupe she has tried for the Givenchy in Voile Rosé is… the $200+ La Prairie 😭 This being said here in Europe we have the pressed version of the Givenchy and at the moment it’s still available it the original formula so I have stocked up on backups.

Wowzers that makeup held up so well throughout the day and even through your vigorous tennis match. Also, hello CT with the new mascara!! That's going on my list asap. I personally love a bold lash, and that looks like perfection. I have super long lashes and have never even attempted falsies, so this is perfect for me.... and no flaking or smudging. Yes, please. I know I'll have the issue with it getting on my upper eye area, but I'll just wait till it dries, swipe it with a Qtip, and be on my merry way, lol. Plus the Boss Base.. oh so perfect! More on the taupe color side with the gorgeous sparkle flecks. Perfect! I for sure go for that VS. a silver glitter topper. That Givenchy liquid eyeshadow is perfect, too, I remember when you first showed when you picked it and tried to get that shade for a while and it was always sold out. So annoying when companies change the formula or discontinue amazing products. Same thing happened to me when they stopped making Too Faced peach perfect powder. I bought as many as I could when I realized what was going on. Literally saving the last bit for my daughter’s wedding in Feb of next year. Did you know Sephora Canada sells the morphexAriel brushes now, including the A14 which I def got. ♥️

I’m even more upset about Nyx Nude Beige tbh 😂 I’ve also been trying to dupe it and haven’t been able to. Nyx Nude Truffle is darker and warmer, the colourpop lippie pencils are great but as you said, they’re almost too creamy to the point where the shade reads differently on the lips. I’ve scoured the internet…everything is either too warm, too dark, too soft, etc. The search continues 😭

Please try Lumene hazel heart!! It is very similar! Not 100% the same but cool toned end not too dark like endless cacao for example. Also very affordable and great consistancy, not too creamy or dry!

I know this might come across sarcastic... but I honestly had the same issue with the colourpop lip liner... try pushing the top on harder... it seems like it's "on" -- but with a harder press, you will get it to stay... at least mine did, hope you find the same solution ; ))

Have you heard of Ere Perez cosmetics? I don’t know why, but I feel like their açai lip liner in the shade POUT and NAUGHTY might be a dupe for the nyx nude beige (OG formula). I’ve never tried nyx before but from the swatches you show, it looks similar to POUT that I use. It’s a beige-y nude, slightly cool toned, borderline gray (but not really).. I think the shade alters on different skin tones. The shade NAUGHTY which I think is discontinued looks so similar too but more of a brown-pink nude. There’s only 1 stockist in Australia that sells naughty but Ere Perez stock globally, possibly in Canada but definitely U.S would have POUT.

A few months ago I saw a Marlena Snell video that pointed out some Nyx pencils are now made in Italy, and some are made in Mexico. I’ve thrown out at least 4 of the Mexico ones, they’re just too waxy. Maybe look for batches made in Italy

I loved the fullness of the Charlotte Tilbury mascara. Maybe the goopiness will go away after it’s been used a couple times. Some Brand new mascaras are a little wet right off the bat. Thank goodness I have a backup of the powder in shade 3 and in 2. RIP as you said.😢you look lovely 🥰

Down the cosmetics rabbit hole, I learned some things you may want to take with a grain of salt. I heard that Givenchy, among others, were required to take talc out of their powders. Therefore, we'll be seeing other brands with talc reformulate. Unfortunately, Givenchy switching mica for talc made it more like a highlighter and not the glorious powder it has been. Did Mario mention if he will need to reformulate, too?
