Watching the 2-parter live streams was amazing. While not an X-Men fan myself (aside from cartoons), I learned so much! Comics are amazing and I enjoy being part of this awesome community.

I liked this overview of how your collection looks now. I got flashbacks to X-Men sections of book stores and libraries in the late 00s with some of your older books. Seeing how thin trades got over the '10s decade is definitely interesting to see. Genext had a promising concept, but is better left forgotten.

I have no conflict in mixing formats, the more importsant to me is they are arranged in the best reading order. Actually I prefer to look at my bookshelves having the look of a public library shelf (all sizes and format mixed together, chaotic) rather than a lawyers library (staid, uniform and boring).

That's why I made sure to take this video so that in case I go back to single format, I'll have the reading order. But I'm pretty sure I'm leaving them this way!

The All-New and Uncanny when you read it it probably should be split up but only if you are not familiar with the New Mutant character Illyana Rasputin/Magik. The Hellfire Gala Immortal comes after Reign of X vol. 8. It was a dumb book but there is some small rationale and clues for it in volume 8. I don't have the first Hellfire Gala Red Carpet. Nice collection! Do you have New Mutants Omnibus vol. 3? I'd go to that too, even way more so for Illyana Rasputin than Bendis All New X-Men Marvel era except that his All New Guardians of the Galaxy might be good with Kitty Pryde there in it in outer space with the guardians and the Black Vortex event book.

I think I have most, if not all, of New Mutants 3 in other collections. This is what I've been told but I will double check!

@OmnidogsVault It looks like it was a 100 issue comic book run. Vol. 3 collects up to issue number 85 so maybe there will be one more vol. 4 omni upcoming and they will add other content but anyway this latest omni looks like it might be a book of the year candidate possibly. Anyway I originally struggled with reading xmen, until after reading the New Mutants and that applies to Dawn of X or the modern stories. Overall the characters are probably the most important thing but their new nteractions create shortcuts to being fluent in reading the xmen omnibuses having a chronological ordering.
