Something that is fun is lions claw on a curved sword, it gives you a nice burst hit that just feels so fun when mixed in with stuff like the feint attack. Might be a str ash but feels more agile and dexterous than some dex ashes, plus it's a weapon ar ash so it's build agnostic.

If I may recommend a fun build for a future video, try main hand Scythe with offhand dagger (the class of dagger depending on what affinity you're going for, Reduvia for occult, Great Knife for occult/keen, Blood-stained for heavy, Wakizashi for quality, Erdsteel Dagger for faith). Any affinity's fine, but you'll most likely want occult for invasions. The Scythe's charged R2 is always fun, and the rolling/crouch R1 is fast, and both should combo into off-hand dagger. Use the Phantom Slash ash of war on the scythe and whatever you like on the dagger. Lightning Slash, Thunderbolt, Bloody Slash, Blood Blade, Storm Blade, Impaling Thrust (especially for Erdsteel Dagger) or whatever else floats your boat are all great. Go for the charged R2, L1 and crouch/roll (easiest to land, but raw works, too) R1, L1 true combos, and roll catch with Phantom Slash, then combo from it with R1, L1. Keeping an offhand dagger with Parry on it in your offhand to hard or soft swap to is also a nice bonus.

finally an actual fun semi-meta setup, insane and fun af tho i'd just switch storm blade for beast roar and make the weapons lightingn/keen instead, but both work tbh, it's just a matter of which ash of war you prefer and where you like to invest points more(although imho the benefit of higher damage on shamshir outweight the benefit of higher damage on lance)

I like using a similar setup but I main hand the Lance with blood tax. It makes attacks from the lance come out faster than expected and catches people off guard.

i've tried a similar quality setup at rl200 using a lance in the left hand and an estoc (with storm blade) in the right one, hyper armor on the lance is ridiculous while r2s on estoc allow for some mind games, worked like a charm. great vid as always, lost!

I'm near 200, rocking a similar "quality" dex arcane blood infusion with long boy pike in the right and a thrusting sword in the left. Been a little silly with the basically 3 hit bleed proc. Also, I go naked for the light roll and range with the pike.

Something weird that I've noticed when playing the game is that the homing bolt incantation can be jumped over, but the weapon ash version can't. Does anyone have a potential reason why?
