Congrats on the 10k! You certainly deserve it. Your vids are well-researched and informative. There are some channels that are great for entertainment but yours is head & shoulders above other channels, not only for entertainment but for learning a broad spectrum of rockhounding related topics.

Been here since damn near the beginning and your content is still great gratz on the 10,000 subs. I personally don't really like the term "yooperlite" but as a branding it's definitely worked. I have had no less than 5 of my non-rock savvy friends talk to me about the magic glowing rocks. Either way, they're still cool rocks and you're one of the most informative rock hounding channels out there!
@CurrentlyRockhounding3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for being here. I think the whole Yooperlite thing does perfectly illustrate my point about language and the importance of being on the same page when discussing things.

So glad I could find you just before 10k! Love the videos, they have given me and my fiance an amazing hobby and a lifelong one at that (already investing in tumblers @ 22 🙃) I love to research and learn and she loves the spiritual side of rocks / minerals. We are planning a trip out west (we're located in Pullman) to look for CBAs at Fir Road & petrified wood at Saddle Montain and were wondering if there was another good houndin' spot not too far off WA-26 (Vantage to Colfax) that we could hit on our way home 😀 Thanks for any help, love your videos and hope you have a wonderful day 😊

I just refer to them as FS Sodalites, but amongst my friends and My Girl who goes hunting with me, I just call them Lavarocks, because it's exactly what they look like they have inside them. My wife and I just love them so much! I'm not even exaggerating when I say that I'd run over diamonds to pick up one of these! They're absolutely my number one favorite stone and there's no sign of diminished see with us. Feldspar is also spectacular. So, what's your favorite pattern?
@CurrentlyRockhounding2 жыл бұрын
They sure are pretty to look at, and someday I hope to get out there to hunt my own. My favorite pattern? I don't quite understand the question.

Great term! " Sleeper Rock " We're all guilty of stepping over or picking up and putting back down these unknown Treasures. Then later we find out what we left behind was quite a keeper..
