I have never heard a sexier intro before. Fuck! I have always loved Currents instrumental aspects but never was a fan of the singer. When they released Life/Lost I loved that album and the new singer. I was sad to hear he was leaving the band. However when they released that single Withered!!! Omg I was in aww. What's catchy to you might not be catchy to me. If this is the most popular song, I would argue that it probably has more to do with it actually having a music video(publicity). Something doesn't have to be gimmicky in order for it to have the catch-factor. I would say that "My Promise Kept" takes the cake in that department by a long shot. Some of the sections lack cohesion, but it still has that contrast of melodic, heavy, and up-beat parts that I'd imagine is tasty to most people's ears.
