A meaningful video presentation that has very strong appeal to teachers especially those of us who are expected to teach from syllabi that are designed way above the expected academic and social development of the students in our care. This work carefully outlines strategies that will help teachers transform some of the disappointing syllabi we receive and are bound to deliver lessons from. This presentation could also be used to structure lesson plans more effectively and have them align meaningfully to the syllabi content. Zeroed on in this presentation is a structured approach to teach students how to teach themselves which is mostly missing from regular syllabi. Once this principle is followed in lesson plan development and execution it is an indication that students will have an opportunity to fully participate in the teaching/learning encounter and become more empowered.
