I think this is the best curry Dungeons crabs I ‘ve yet to see, but as I get older in life I find the young people in Guyana are cooking way differently. I have never seen my Mom put geera in crab curry. She normally takes off the nails at the bottom. She never used water to add to her seasoning. Also she has never put okra, but I think that might be a nice flavour. She uses only coconut milk which she grates and add water so as not to get it watery. Everything else I’v seen my grams, mother and Aunts do, frying up the stuff might have been a different way, but looking at the end product is what matters. It looks awesome. I like mine with a little more potatoes. I gave you a 10 for this dish because I hate dirtying my mouth to eat those crabs Guyana crabs. The dungeons crabs are the best for currying. Stone crab, gueen crabs, king crabs are all for steaming and dipping in garlic butter. The dungeons comes in three different kinds, they have the brown one, the reddish ones and the ones you cook. I shall check out your other dishes. Best of luck. Oh, and I even like your presentation. Most Guyanese like vloging, but has no presentational skills. Good luck.

Very well written. 👏🏾 appreciate this. Everyone cooks different I learned to cook at the age of 10 because I didn't like my moms cooking she was into bodybuilding and cooked more healthy meals with less flavor or taste because that was great for her training. So I would take the food she already cooked and redo it adding the seasoning and flavors I prefer. I did that then I started cooking full meals from scratch on my own teaching myself along the way. I developed a love for cooking and was always in the kitchen trying different dishes, that carried over to my adult life anyone that knows me well know that I love to cook its therapeutic for me. and that's what got me here on KZbin sharing my recipes and also learning from other professionals. As time goes by things are evolving nothing stays the same, trying and exploring new things is how we grow so I'm always open. A warm welcome to my channel and hope to see you around often. Thank you enjoy your evening 😊

Looking spectacular. I understand if the color appears different. Sometimes when I take photos of foods, it comes out a bit different from the actual stuff. I haven't had crab curry this way before. I had with eddoes and coconut milk but never with mangoes or potatoes or ochro. It makes sense though since its seafood. 👍🙏💯🇬🇾❤

For this recipe, did you buy pre-cooked crab or if not, could one use raw crab and cook it in the sauce rather than steaming first? I'm not familiar with sazon seasoning. What is the brand name and also the brand of the chicken seasoning. Unfortunately I've never seen green mango in any local grocery store, so I shall have to look at Mexican, Chinese or Mediterranean grocery stores in the hopes of finding that ingredient. This surely looks delicious.

The crab I used was prre cooked and yes you can use raw crab that's actually best. The seasoning you don't have to necessarily use the ones I used, you can use what you have on hand season to your liking. I usually find the green mangoes at the Asian international store, if you can't find that it can be omitted.
