Buddy won't start.. Kerr wants his spacing in the 2nd unit with Kuminga.. gives JK more room to operate.. Kerr finally separated JK and Steph.. Sure there'll be overlap but not much.. Buddy will close games with Steph though.. think of him as using Iggy's minutes.. doesn't start, but closes halves/games.. Kerr wants balance in the second unit.. only way Buddy starts is if Melton or Waters gets ultra reliable from deep. Reliable enough to draw the same kind of attention as buddy does... What's the big difference in what GSW is running to the dysfunction of what they did last year? They lost Klay and added SlowMo and Buddy. On offense, I think they stopped having Curry iso so much and are not doing the 2man game with Dray and Steph predictably. On defense, I have a hard time figuring out how a team so small can get stops in bursts to key some of their runs. I have a feeling they are playing illegal defense at times.

I might have missed it, but im quite disapointed the foul on a curry 3 attempt with an illegal screen in the fourth wasnt called, both times: nobody had even touched him, and they gave a clearly bs explanation as to why they rejected the challange. That shifted the momentum and gave GSW the game. The entire game was full of questionable officiating and officials twisting the game like that shouldnt just be an offense that warrents regular suspensions, it should be prosecuted under the law. Thats why it pains me whenever I see otherwise respectable CC's doing deplorable things like advertising gambling. Did you know that sports betting makes you a full THIRD more likely to go bankrupt or divorce?
