For a super early Genesis title, the amount of layers being scrolled is impressive and the music isn't half bad either, its quite gentle

I suppose, despite the bad framerates, I can't deny how well the parallax works. Though in most cases, it's really only music that was Micronet's strong suit.

@@MusicalMinerdude Yeah Micronet wasn't really that great but they still had some merit of quality through a few of their titles

Ah, Micronet. Never exactly a household name, ALMOST never great at game dev. Though they did manage some neat-sounding stuff (though not much stands out about this game's music). And even more surprisingly? They somehow managed to create the best, most awesome console port of Raiden out of its whole console generation. Actually has me wondering if perhaps Seibu Kaihatsu lent a hand at some points. This game though? VERY humble beginnings in terms of their shmup ventures. Unimpressive performance even for how damn early it released, mediocre graphics, and baffling software bugs. Believe it or not, INTV were once considering a Western release of this game! That's right...the Intellivision guys! Mattel! But thankfully, the fates intervened, and to be blunt the rest of the world missed out on next to nothing at the end of the day. You know, Zeus, it's a funny thing: Before you introduced us to X DAZELY RAY, I was well and fully convinced that this was perhaps THE most boring shoot-em-up ever produced.
