One of the best things about this franchise is that Don Mancini has always been determined to keep every bit of it official canon, even as the tone bounces back and forth. So even as this movie represents a shift back to more serious horror, you've still got Tiffany possessing Jennifer Tilly's body.

What I love about the cameo is the little details. First, that was the actual actor that played Andy in the first two films. And he was watching cartoons (as an adult) because he pretty much didn’t have a childhood as a kid since he moved around a lot and was traumatized by Chucky. And he mentioned on the phone MIKE, the cop from the first film. His mom married or got with him since then. And he doesn’t want surprises because of what happened when he was a kid. He KNEW CHUCKY was in that box. Chucky ruined his life and now ANDY will ruin his.

39:47 That was a big worry the fans had when they first announced the tv series, but rest assured that’s not an issue at all! Part of why Don Mancini decided to go with SYFY is because they insisted on keeping Chucky rated R and allowed him to make the series without any censorship. In fact, some of the most gruesome kills in the entire franchise come from the series!

Love this one so much snd I love Nica as well. The actress of Nica is actually the actor of Chucky's real life daughter and if you look at her face closely you can tell that she is. This one was so well done and it brings you back to the first one in the way that it's scarry and Chucky is so very well done in the way he looks as well. Good reaction

Nika is one of my favourite final girls but I wish she didn't have to suffer so much. She uummm...this isn't even the smallest of it with what they put this girl through. It's so cool when you realise who fiona dourif is. There's so much of her dad in her eyes and mannerisms. She's amazing I'm the next instalments.

Definitely a true return to form for the franchise as it went back to its horror roots. This is the start of Nica a character who never caught a break in this franchise who’s live continuously got worse and worse with each appearance.

I agree with what you said being one of the best, if not the best. Its very underrated and not sure why a lot of fans dont think much of this one. It did a great job tying all the movies together and still telling a new story. Cult of Chucky is when it starts to get a bit more loopey again and then even more as the tv series goes on. Curse was boring..yes it was more 'horror' again but the story wasn't interesting and the flashback story of Charles lee ray didn't make sense and destroyed the character of Chucky..charles lee ray was just a serial killer,not a psychopath who had an obsession with families.for me Chucky died in child's play 3.. this is the end of the story

season 1 was nothing special,and season 2 was a mess with a lot of unnecessary comedy, some plot holes and awful twists.... 'the majority' ? it's not like many people have seen the series,cause the ratings are low cause chucky has lost many fans that's why the franchise has released straight to dvd movies and now it's a tv series in a small channel with low numbers.and if you are happy with the series then you have low expectations so it's good for you .don Mancini destroyed Chucky's legacy and the franchise can't return back to theatres when other horror legends like Michael myers or ghost face are still having huge success on the big screens and they are more popular than Chucky. you can stay with the low quality budget of the tv series and you can continue to support the mess that Chucky has become cause of Don mancini

Definitely a pop i agree Cuese is one of the best in the series and happy they brought him back darker, creepier. Only issue i had with this movie was cbucky didn't bleed at all but I suppose it was because atiffany had to build him a new body putting his head on it. Haha she really didn't like Chucky in this movie 😅

That honestly was satisfying. She cheated on her own husband and blamed everything on him. And she didn’t even listen to her own sister.

I can't believe we've already nearly reached the end of this franchise, movie wise anyway! The remake is very divisive... honestly I say just watch it, go along for the ride & make up your own minds. I'm interested to see if you give it a Pop or Flop. The OG Chucky fans refuse to like the remake because the studio were quite shady & had nobody from the original franchise involved in making it so they could grab all the cash! It's basically a stand-alone film, but it'll still be a lot of fun to see how you both feel about it
