They fall to the bottom of the battle screen in this cool moment of triumph, then the music cuts off as it just skips straight into the screen of them dead on the ground with no cutscene between it. The barn ghost is just go to the first floor without the music box. The ghost will eventually reach you if you wait long enough or wander aimlessly. The mummy is opening its coffin in the crypt and then going back to the car.

@@CrankyTemplar Well barn ghost, I most certainly got lucky. I read about something on a paper in the Cult HQ that says one monster is too violent to control and only music can calm it down. But I've never ran into it. I even wandered aimlessly since I didn't have the maze scroll. As for the mummy, I assume you mean the corpse in the coffin with all its skin missing that you have to "put out of its misery" as the game says. Good thing I did just that.
