If I remember correctly, only the last spent shell had to be manually ejected. It used gas pressure from the next round to eject the previous spent shells, but this obviously didn't work for the last one. It also had to be wound up like a clock as part of the reload, in addition to inserting each of the 12 shells individually. Overall, a mechanically cool but utterly useless magazine system. Every shooting demo I've seen online involves a whole lot more fumbling around with the weapon than actually firing it.

I'm still 100% convinced the Street Sweeper was a meme idea from the start. The name, the loading mechanism, the capacity, the ergonomics (and by that I mean the astonishingly lack thereof). The original Armstel Strikers were made in South Africa and are actually reasonably decent guns. And the later Protecta models even fixed the flaws from the Striker. Cobray, the idiots who made the Street Sweeper, cheaped out and made inferior copies. And they absolutely wouldn’t have ended up being labelled a Destructive Device if they hadn’t been idiots and called it a Street Sweeper. 🙄

I used this in COD Cold War, I mainly used the largest mag, and would often never reload it in a game, just dying and spawning back with it full, so dying and making a new one was faster than reloading
