Longest cannot be any longer in any way. The issue is not direct map size, of 1.5 km - Inferno has made much larger maps in CE's engine. The 5 kilometer desert in Cursed Halo's campaign, or the two desert bus maps, for instance. The issue is that all the walls and other surfaces of Longest hit the engine's triangle limit, making him unable to add more surfaces. Were it to be expandable in any way, length would not be the issue.

Inferno actually made a map called desert hog inspired by Desert Buss. That takes 1 hour of irl time to reach the other teams base and back made for 16 people. Being able to at minimum waste 1 hour of 16 people’s lives outclassing classic Desert Buss. Until someone had the bright idea of making a VR port with other people being able to jump in for the ride.

So War Thunder is actually really easy to get into. Arcade controls = plane goes where you point your mouse. Also the more you progress in multiplayer, the more single player dynamic campaigns and missions unlock. On another note, back when I was making games on roblox. I took something out of an old machinima. In this machinima (no longer up) Master Chief is fighting because he got prank called. At one point there is a knife in the sand. An enemy running away. It cuts to a first person view of something thrown. And after it hits. It cuts to show that it was in fact, a shark. So yeah I made throwing sharks a weapon on roblox. The tail even moved. If you ever want to get into game development. Roblox and halo forge are the easiest ways. People still ask me to come back to roblox or make halo maps through discord. On that note, since it appears roblox and halo are both crawling back from the holes they were in. If you want any ridiculous maps or want tips or even to design a few with me. Just let me know. It could take anywhere from a day to a longer term project. There's plenty of existing weapon and vehicle systems on roblox that can be transferred to other stuff and edited to be that thing. As for Halo, that'd be more map/game mode making

Just so you know: War thunder’s skill level scales with the type of tanks you use. If you stick to just BP 1.0, you can have fun with other newbies. As far as I know the challenge starts when you try out a BP 2.0. Sure, it sucks that you won’t be able to use modern tanks without being crushed by an actual tank operator, but it still is fun to play around with the oldest tanks they have available.
