Stanisław Lem wanted to be an inventor, he was forced to work as a mechanic during the war, after the war he studied medicine, he then became a bestselling polish sci-fi writer. His mind was always focused on technology and future.

Yes, a lot of cool patents were coined by Polish plane designers. Good thing was that many of them survived the war and went on to work in post-war factories and research centers. USSR was very generous with licences do they were pumping out tons of licenced soviet jets and helicopters.

I skipped it because it's fake. At least the Wargaming portrayal is fake. There is a smidge of evidence that suggests that the 60TP did exist but only as a very a vague concept.
