Regarding the 2604/2605, there's technical drawings of the suspension floating around - it's actually one of four suspension designs for the Chi-Ri, and it is indeed interwoven wheels and torsion bars. I believe WOT's take is an artistic malformation of the medium tank, and a pretty good one too... just not practical in any sense.

I've heard some people have some really bad attempts to pronounce old war german equipment. My favorite ive heard is' the goo-"where?" rifle. Instead of gah-vhere. Not being familiar to your channel is your way of saying panther, being pawn-th-her. is that like a channel joke or the equvilent of stewie Griffin saying cool hwhip.. as you're close to pernouceing panther's but you're getting the ah mixed up with panzer.

The PaK 80 is basically a rebranded PaK 44. For some reason it only used this designation when installed in the 128mm Jagdpanther.

I'm currently trying to revive an old MoWA2 mod of mine which has AufPanther in it, but I can't give a release date as the work to bring the old models up to current standards has been extensive.

I wonder if the main reason they wished to procure the Tiger, Panther, and two Panzer III's were to try and "borrow" aspects of the vehicles into their own tank programs. After all this happened at around the same time the Type 3 Chi-Nu, Type 5 Ke-Ho would have begun the design phases. Additionally with the O-I program having gone nowhere despite the 5 years of development spent on it by the time they purchased the Tiger and Panther. I could see them using the German tanks as blueprints to shift their own tank programs. Such as what the majority of Japanese heavies from World of Tanks Blitz are.

The two primary issues with the mod are size and stability. In terms of size, it is nearly 40gb and in terms of stability it crashes frequently and most of the stuff shown is only marginally functional.

I primarily use World Of Tanks models though there have been a few tanks where the amount of work I had to do on them could almost count as making a whole new tank lol.

The problem I'm having with that video is there already wasn't much material for part 1 so a lot more research would have to be done to get enough for a part 2. Make no mistake, if I get enough for a video, it will happen.
