This kept my attention for 10 min. and gave me several ideas on pasta dishes, particularly the italian meats, I'd like to try cooking with. Who gives a FINE one if Curtis didn't do it exactly right here. You apparantly are too fickle to get the point of this segment, which is that sauces can be done quickly if that's what you need to know before trying a recipe.

Georgina Hadjisavva I was thinking the same thing... 20 min u could work magic
@RomeoBarnes7 жыл бұрын
Georgina Hadjisavva the point you can make all the sauces in minutes which is the time it takes the pasta to cook. What you do at home is spend your off day making the sauces and freeze them. Then you just make the itself each night when you get home and you'll have dinner in less than 10 minutes every night for a week. You can have the leftovers for lunch if you choose. This was just to prove you to that you could do it.

Seeing a lot of "ugh he didn't even simmer the sauces" comments here when that's like item number five thousand on the list of things wrong with this video. You don't spend two hours simmering a cream sauce. Or anything with shellfish in it, or that's got vegetables in there that you want to have any sort of texture when you serve it. Or a sauce that's literally just supposed to be some tossed, blistered cherry tomatoes and herbs, like that last one. Regardless, a couple of these could have been made with more care. No carrot, no wine, and no beef stock in the bolognese. And that carbonara was...not good. You can literally see when she pours it out onto the plate where the eggs have not only begun to scramble, they've actually browned. Gross. Also yeah, it's real easy to cook ten dishes in eight minutes when you have ten goddamn hot plates sitting out on your TWENTY-FIVE FOOT LONG kitchen island countertop and an entire selection of shellfish, chopped and washed vegetables, fresh herbs, passata, sausage, ground beef, wine, cream, eggs, and your cheeses all set out and prepared for you to grab them and go. The mise en place to end all mise en place ffs.
