I bought 1 of theses off a old man that was getting rid of stuff, he wanted $75 for it , i crapped my pants, i could not get the money out my pocket fast enough, he said it did not run , hour meter had 27 hrs on it , got it home, rebuilt the carb which was a pain in the butt, new battery it fired right up , still have it to this day

Dude that's like the best buy of the decade. These babies cost over 6 grand. I too bought a hardly used 1995 EM1800 for $350.00 back in 2013 and I thought that was a good deal. I just recently bought a new Honda EZ 6500 cxs. I LOVE Honda generators because like their cars are are extremely well made and last for a lifetime.

These things are nearly impossible to pull start. So much rotational mass in that generator.
