THE FROST WITCH CLASS IS OVERPOWERED IN ELDEN RING'S CONVERGENCE MOD!

Today we're trying out the frost witch class in the convergence mod! This one I had a lot of fun with and didn't need to use my brain as much, a lot of cool spells in the class!

Dragon Cultist trivialises the entire game with just two spells. Gravity, Glint and Frenzy follow suit, even if not to the same extent. But Frost Witch definitely isn't OP. It's not even particularly strong. All the "op" videos you see from Convergence aren't op, typically not even strong, sometimes not even good in any way.

Quick tip, set your most common spell in the first slot and hold up on the Dpad to quickly go to it

seeing the way you have your flasks set up with the hold triangle made the game so much better for me lmao i didn’t even realize you could set them there. now i don’t fumble through my quick items just to press the wrong one and get stuck in an animation

You can prevent that fumbling if you set your hp flasks in the first slot in the quick items and it doesn't matter what your item quick tab is set on, just hold down and it will auto take you to the first slotted item

I changed my flasks and stuff to be Y instead of X because i kept fumbling and pressing X when i didnt want to. It was also kind of inconvenient to press Y to do some stuff because id have to reach my thumb. I get hand spasms and my thumb tends to lock up so having it on X is just much easier to press in the middle of a fight

I played Frost a little while back. Fun class, I focused a bit more on the weapons than the spells. Renna's Barrier vs Skarde was pretty hilarious. Convergence really streamlines things so each class playthrough feels super different from the last.

They nerfed snow witch in the most recent update. Whiteout used to be in the second or third rune and had much lower requirements and hit a bit harder, paired with the barrier you could stunlock a lot of bosses. Also, unless they changed it in the update, you could get a second rapier in the ruins by Iji. Duel wielding those just shredded everything for the first half of the game, especially if I buffed both with the ash of war. I switch to DMG when I got it, but even late game I pulled the needles out a few times.

I use whiteout+ zamor ice storm+ ice spear on the frost witch staff. That ash of war is crazy 4k-6k damage when frost is proced on the mobs. You can just delete bosses, faster than even the gravity class.

reposted from another comment - to clarify, there was no contract just an agreement and I did make the video and it did release. I initially just sent them an unlisted video of just the ad segment and later put it into a video, that's where the oopsie happened as the website only had one submission option after the advertiser gave it the green light. They greenlit the ad segment which was an unlisted 1 minute ad. Which obviously wasn't going to be uploaded in that state as they wanted it attached to a video. So on the website it got marked as "failed" and hence why I wasn't paid out. I had to contact them and that's where they made the mistake and double payed. This happened months ago I tried reaching out and no one responded. It's not that deep just a funny story.

I dont think they touch on the communion much, but they do have a dragon cultist class which is one of the stronger classes!

The better staff for this class, at least when I last played, has the Ice Spear skill on it. I was getting better DPS spamming my staff's Art than using any spells or weapons 😭
