I don't think it's fair to say that any parent hates the other parent. More than they love their kids, but some parents can make bad decisions based on emotions and based on feeling like they are being slighted by the other parent. It doesn't mean that they don't love their kids. But it does mean that they are a bit short-sighted, which is actually fairly common among human beings. We are emotional creatures and it takes a lot sometimes to control yourself. And some people are better at it than others. But that doesn't give you the right to judge whether somebody loves their kid or not. She wouldn't be doing this if she didn't love her kid. She's just making selfish decisions in the process. That makes it look like she's trying to make things difficult.

I understand your concern. It’s just that in my previous life ( school principal) I was always amazed when separated/divorced parents turned up to meetings with solicitors, took the other parent to court accusing the other parent of sexualising abusing the child ( in spite of the child protests) or only communicated with that other parent through letters. THESE parents defiantly did not think about the child. Granted, I have a number parents, who after going it alone, were unbelievable and had a very good relationships with their ex-spouse. I suppose the quality of their on- going relationship depended on their emotional intelligence or even the nature of their break- up. I just always felt very sorry for the poor children when the parents made it very obvious of their intense dislike of each other- the children often ended up confused and very anxious. Just my observations and from a middle class view. Sorry/

As a family custody psych expert, if you're going through a contentious divorce/custody case, consider "parallel parenting" where you communicate as little as possible with the contentious spouse. Communicate only through parenting apps that record every text and conversation so there is no misunderstanding on who said what. The dialogue can easily be downloaded for court. Record every conversation. There are free apps for that. There is also a children's Bill of Rights in every state. Children are not to be Messengers, they're not to be used to pit one parent against the other, and parents are not allowed to denigrate each other in front of the child. There's more but that's a good start.

My ex took me to the cleaners after we split. Twin boys I got every other weekend and two weeks in the summer. Child support etc. I went for full custody. Within a month she had changed her mind, and allowed joint custody as long as I paid child support. After ten years she cut that off as well. My boys are with me usually 4-5 days a week now at 13. To all my fathers out there that just wanna be dads it is possible if they aren’t completely nuts. Don’t give up

Judges have to be objective. He's not a psychologist, so he can't recommend that. I have been required to go to court, but that's because I claimed that a temporary situation is what caused me to be in court in the first place. The psychologist agreed and everything was dropped. But unless you're trying to use mental health as a crutch. Or logical reason for anything, they cannot suggest you go get mental health help. It's considered uncouth and beyond a judge's reach.

I'm shocked. She lost custody but wants to drown Matt in court hearing and costs to make him look like a bad father and person, but meanwhile she did this to herself. For the judge to mention he knew what she was up to since their divorce is some monumental history and he's sick of it. And the dad having to raise his kids alone, along w/an exwife who wants to weigh him down, is so unfair. He must be exhausted. I am just by seeing this for the entirety of the video. Using her kids to do her dirty work really is low and something that if it doesn't stop, I hope she loses the little time she has to spend with her kids.

I have a friend who is going through this EXACT same shit. His ex wife is a real pain in the behind. Drags him to court of the littlest stupidest things. She has lost physical sole custody. He has custody of the 3 kids. He is hard working and minds his own, he is a great Dad. On weekends she has the kids, when they return it's an absolute nightmare. She doesn't pay support as ordered and he has had to file contempt on her. It's just ridiculous. LOVE your kids more than you HATE your ex. Kids REMEMBER stuff.

My adult friend still speaks of his experiences being constantly dragged through family court as a kid. With his mom primarily bringing dad to court over the pettiest stuff. She's also a little cuckoo like this mom. It has permanently impacted their relationship long into adulthood, and likely always will. It always hits the kids the hardest.

The fact that she doesn't argue her case, she's not committed to any of her false statements. She thanks the judge and even smiles sweetly at the end. She's happy because she's been in front of an authority figure and been shut down, in her mind she isn't to blame for any of the restrictions placed on her because "the judge did it". She can be the victim, she can blame everyone else. Oh, bloody hell, this is such a familiar game being played. After 20 years being married to the same type of sociopath, I got full custody of my kids and my ex got alternate weekends. I'm not sure if we differentiate the type of custody granted here in the UK but I got full custody - which isn't easy as a man.

lol it’s very very rare that a woman is ordered to pay child support to a man. And even rarer for her to ever actually pay. This mum will continue to do crazy bs and there will never be any consequences. But if dad slips up even once just a little bit he will face serious consequences. My parents divorced when I was 11 and HATED each other. My dad moved out and got a place about a mile away. I went back and forth freely - if one had primary custody of me, i never knew.
