I love how you came to the realization that you could create a universal design to launch a thousand Dioramas! As always a pleasure to watch a master at work in his craft!!

Dave, I’ve been watching your videos for years. I absolutely love your repairs and restorations. However, your dioramas are next level my friend. They are simple but immensely effective much like a vintage version would have been. It doesn’t have to be 100% screen accurate. It just has to covey the idea of the setting for these worlds we enjoy so much. I’ve been hooked since you did your Ewok mini diorama. Thank you for another AMAZING piece of craftsmanship. Cheers my friend! I hope you and Mrs. Toy Polloi had a very happy holiday season and are having a fantastic new year so far!!

Wonderful shelf friendly diorama once again! 👏 I totally agree, with some minor changes, this could very easily represent one of the towns on Tatooine. Wonderful creation once again, very interesting and inspiring. 👌

Brilliant work, TP. ❤ While some toy makers, such as Hasbro are indeed making diorama set pieces, you'd think more toy making companies, especially those directed at collectors, would add a display diorama to their 3 & 3/4 figure lines. Companies like Super7 & Plastic Meatball, for example. It doesn't even have to be something as complicated or expensive to produce, like you very well demonstrated. Just something collectors can use to display their figure line on a shelf.

Best wishes for you and the channel in 2025! Cheers!

I was at a Goodwill recently and for $1.99. They had a Playmobil snow igloo playset I pulled off the blue top that showed the ice and I was just left with the snow and it made a fantastic Heath place set for the kenner Empire strikes back figures it had the greats on the floor, which none of the actual license play sets had so I immediately bought it

You're definitely inspiring me to make my own diorama bases and backgrounds. These have all just been entirely too nice. I love them so much. Also, you mentioned doing a black one for Star Wars, but I think that this one would work perfectly for Tatooine scenes. You could do Owen and Beru's place, or a street view in Mos Eisley without changing that base one bit.

Fantastic work as always, sir. Maybe you can use that base and make the Yavin ceremony scene at the end of Star Wars. With the multiple card backs it can even be the hanger scene where Luke and Han say goodbye to each other with Luke's X-Wing as the background image.

That came out really really well! I think it looks awesome! Something I thought of while you where talking about the paint was a type of spray paint that I'm not sure if you have access to in the UK, but it's a texture spay paint. There are two colors that I know of and they are tan and white. I like to use the tan for a sand texture and it works great! It's nice and rough and has different color "grains" mixed in. The white works out really well for snow so that might be good for a future Star Wars Hoth play set 😊. Thanks for another video and I hope that info is of some use to you. 🤓
