If the shift rod needs to come out after this car is finished, we’ll have bigger concerns than this tank. 😉 It will be simple to remove if needed, just a few bolts and some hoses.

@@The2CarGarage it's was a while since I commented so I don't recall why I wrote this. Perhaps where the rod exits through the front apron out of the frame head is obstructed? But like you say, a few bolts and it'll clear?
