1:30 TBH it having Celica headlights ain't even bad. The Vaydor uses Chevy Cruze Headlights, the Diablo uses Nissan 300ZX headlights, and the Vector WX8 uses Supra Headlights. If the designer integrates the lights well enough into the bodywork, then I'll congratulate their craftsmanship and creativity!

Porsche 987 that is needed for this kit to work goes 0-60 in 5.1 seconds, that’s pretty slow considering how the car looks, but I guess you can do performance mods afterwards, but it’s probably still the best looking car for 50k

Seems a bit silly to worry about the resale value of a kit car, once you cut up that Porsche the 'book value' is gone. That being said, I would probably go with the Porsche base as well. Pretty good looking kit car IMO.

Now it's a 1 of a kind car. I think the market will find the value . Imo 100k to 120k . Figure 15-20k for base then 45k plus 4 months. So 65k plus 4mo. Wait I feel 100k meets that . If u wanna buy 1 upfront rather than get a base then send it In and wait 4mo. What do u guys think? It's a 1 of a kind car so in my mind it's a car and art and has value

I personally feel and think that a beautiful Porsche (Boxster or not) shouldn’t be cut up and dressed up with a bunch of sheet metal and celica headlights just to say “look at my one off exotic car” . That car could’ve made a fabulous All around car with very simple/minimal modifications. Basic improvements will turn an already solid Boxster into quite the performer. No hate, you definitely put in the dedication and I will say it looks different from the rest of the kit cars I see or have seen. At the end of the day though its still his car and is proud of it and that’s what it’s all about.

I’d say it’s a good choice for a Boxter to be the original car. Fast and agile enough more then a MR2 or Fierro, but then again plentiful and affordable enough then a 911 or a Ferrari.

A porsche is designed to perform not to look like it performs, messing up the proportions and weight distribution for sure changes the dynamics of the car. A kit car can look good but will never be engineered as good as a production car, it is for possers...

Think you missed the point of a kit car dude. There are plenty of kit cars that will obliterate production cars. Ultima, Superlite's SLC, Factory Five's GTM, all can, and have destroyed exotic cars. Saying a kit car is for posers is disingenuous, just like saying every production car has the same standards. production cars have factory recalls on them all the time. TVR is notorious for having cars with production issues, as is Mclaren.

Imo, this is a good effort but a tad over the top. If it was a little more subtle it would serve it better. Secondly, attention to detail. The interior quality looks cheap. The airbag for instance is peeling up and the panel inserts are to simply done, example the red door card inserts. Good first effort though.

It's a waste that they didn't at least try to work on performance( especially since we have eBay and other cheap alternative places to buy an array of engines) I saw a Bentley 6.0 W12 engine for $4,000 on eBay( since the car is so long I'm sure you could find a Corvette transmission or a ford gt trans to match that engine, Hell u might even be able to get away with changing engine transmission mountz then mount them transverse that way you can run a 5.3 ls4 with the front wheel drive transmission in the rear that way the power response would be crazy) if it was me I think I would chop the Porsche off behind the front seats and build a tube chassis with added sheet metal weld them together that way I could do whatever I want / power trans................
