Custom BSA AirSporter Air Rifle Gun Review This Old Airgun : American Airgunner TV

Here's a throwback. Found this one on an old drive.
Tom Gaylord shows host, Rossi Morreale a BSA Air Sporter, but with a special custom stock.
Prince Charles donated his Feinwerkbau 124 to the National Firearms Museum of the United States in thanks for what the U.S. did to help during World War II. This is not that gun, but was crafted by the same man, Don Robinson.

I'm a very proud owner of a pre production 1959 BSA rifle Number 1of 1 stamped into the barrel. I've the full history of this lovely old rifle. Also my beautiful better half and I had an invitation for a full tour of the BSA factory. Great place with amazing history. Love the show. Thanks for all your hard work producing a really top notch series of shows.

A mate of mine has a Webley mk3 with a Don Robinson stock, The walnut isn't highly figured but I have to say, It's the nicest mk3 i've ever seen! I'm hoping to buy it someday!!

I have around 8 airguns. Why not. They are just guns that don't need gun powder to shoot. You can hunt with them, and target practice. My father started me out with an air rifle to teach me how to aim a rifle. Then later i would follow my father and uncles into the woods hunting. I was not good at hunting at that time sense i was only 8 years old. But i learned by watching them. The first time they shot a rabbit, I didn't even see the rabbit. They also got some quail. When the quail flew up, the noise of their wings scared me. Later i learned setting quiet was much easier to hunt. Me and my little brother used to hunt together. He never figured out how i was hunting better then him. He was to noisy, and could not set long. I became so good at being quiet , that it became part of my life. I started being so quiet in my life, i was always scaring people when i walk up to them. Most city Humans don't learn this skill. Maybe the thieves, They learn to rob our homes quiet. They don't want to attract the neighbors attention. One time a guy came knocking at my door late night around 2 am. I had lived in the country so long, I knew when people came knocking that late, they was up to no good. So i put on my gillie suit fast and circled around him, He caught sight of me running from bush to bush, and took off running to a Mustang car waiting for him. I stood up out of the bushes as they went by. I bet i gave them a hell of a story to tell all their thieving friends. Anyways, I have learned, in the city you need a gun even more then you need one in the country. Is many Human predators ready to do wrong to us. Back to air guns. These days if you have the money, you can buy air rifles that can kill just as well as a gun powder rifle.

I have a Don Robinson Stocked feinwerkbau sport 127. The working parts were sent to Venom tuning Company who I believe were in Birmingham England at the time, they completely tuned the weapon and shortened the Barrel fitting a moderator/cocking aid. I have had it many years and it is my pride and joy. I have often wondered if Don still carried this type of work out. Great video thanks John. England. @@americanairgunner It shoots very well. Although it’s been quite a few years since I last used it. I would like to get some display hooks on the wall for it and the other three. I have a Wierach hw35, a Titan bearcat pcp, and an Air arms xm100 pcp. Would be nice to see them on display. If you can give me your email address I’ll send a photo. Or what’s app.
