Love that XS. Bikes have become too complex ,heavy and specialised/styled. I bought as basic as I could ,a Moto Guzzi V7 and will be ripping bits off it in the months ahead. Don`t think I could ditch the indicators in modern city traffic though.

I really like the XS they are such a good bike to work on, I re-built a 750, it came in a series of box's & virtually every piece was apart, it took me around 7 weeks to get it back to original, but I wasn't happy with that so I put a single swingarm on it, now it feels a bit special & it takes a moment for people to notice why it looks a bit special. Not the easiest thing I've ever done, but I think it was worth the effort. Good stuff once again, thanks.PS That sounds beautiful. It seems I virtually gave mine away.
