Epic 🤯 For the amount of storage space, the width between the 2 sides is amazing: so much cargo area! The contouring of every shelf to the profile is something usually only an owner/builder would take the time to do... and the pic of underfloor storage (7:40) is the best layout I've seen. The attention to detail throughout this entire build is mind-blowingly-impressive. 👍👍

I got a idea that you could add to your van , get rid of them 4 power cords and replace them with 4 retractable power cord reels 60 foot 12/3 guage. Mount each retractable cord reel onto a portable base so you can use it anywhere. You could run them all inline for a total of 240 feet length Also add a power strip outlet to the end with like at least 6 outlets

This is great. I outfited my trailer, then I did a few for other trades. But only a few. Never figured out how to market this unique ability to the right people. I set everything I make for the most part to be modular. Needs change. I really loved doing it. I’d build everything off sight and come to them and do the install. Once on their job sight. I wanted to do vans for the challenge and when I saw all that unused space behind those metal space wasters, I knew I could do better for their needs. Once I built some interlocking small totes for an electrician’s supply truck. Put his logos under the finish. That was a fun project. How have you marketed yourself for this?

one could use the inside roof to store some batteries in holders(maybe even hook up a speed charger using a power inverter to change the car 12 volts into 230 volts), if such person has manny battery powered tools, it certainly would make even more use of space, of course at thte cost of some headroom

Nice, but you should put a small lip so nothing can slide out. I see you use bungie chords to keep things inside the space, but I would also put a lip may be a 3/16 lip at the edge of all your open space holes.

Yes... as a matter of fact, many shelves have a 1/4" lip... but some were selected to have bungees... as that was more effective for those items. It is a matter of what was selected for what area.

The bottom storage, 91 inches and 69 inches, we can change 91 inches to all the way up to the partition , so we can carry 10 foot stuff like metal pipe, PVC pipe, copper pipe or thread rods ? Still we can make storage at a side door.?
@socinc57494 жыл бұрын
The Floor Storage partitions on the drivers side could be adjusted to be up to approximately 126" long... but it would make the side door storage shorter. It would still work well for many people. The bottom floor design is somewhat flexible during the planning stages.
@pgtips42402 жыл бұрын
What if lengths of wood or other things get stuck under the floor shoots? Don't you think it would be good to have hinged doors further inside the van to assist in retrieving any trapped timber or other? I would definitely have a raised floor but I think it needs to be accessible in the event of a problem. The long drawers are a great idea.
