Quick Video showcase my new Custom PC build. Built inside of the ThermalTake Core P1 custom painted white. Paired with the new 10th Gen intel core i9 which is a 10 Core/20 Thread CPU that can boost well above 5gz, combined with the new nvidia RTX 3080 and Samsungs 980 Pro M.2 SSD. Super solid components hope you enjoy the build. Please feel free to share any feedback. Thanks for watching and make sure to sub to not miss out on my next video.

The paint job looks fabulous. So much better than the plain black. It's a shame the P1 only comes in black.

Really appreciate the video my man! I just bought this case and like you, I gotta have it in white. I painted a Dell Optiplex all white and didn't know about those brands of paint and clear coat. Took a pic of them!

Did you mount the radiator at the back of the case so it won't get in the way with the EVGA 3080?

Voltea el radiador con los tubos desde abajo para que el liquido se concentre alli y el aire en la parte superior.

Great build. You should have gone with amd's 5 series processor. But, still cool looking build. Just a request: Can you show thermals and benchmarks with this build?
@KnifeFiend
@KnifeFiend 3 жыл бұрын
Yeah for sure! Thermals are quite because of the open case design. Highest Firestrike score I saw before overclocking was around 29.k on 3Dmark firestrike.

hey the paint you used to paint it white? how did you do it? and can it be applied to the legs?
@KnifeFiend
@KnifeFiend 3 жыл бұрын
I used gloss white enamel paint and 2k Gloss clear as a top coat. Not sure if it would work on the legs you would probably need to sand them first. Can probably find all the paints used on amazon.

The build looks awesome. Quick question if i may. The core P1's radiator has to be within 122mm. I noticed you used the Kraken X53 which is 123mm wide. Did you tweak anything to get it to fit properly? Also noticed you got the corsair fans, did you replace the fans in the Kraken? thanks!!
@KnifeFiend
@KnifeFiend 2 жыл бұрын
No need to do any tweaking to fit the rad. Was snug but fit in just fine. Would 100% recommend using an aftermarket fan solution over the stock NZXT fans. I went with the corsair LLs based on preference.

Im planning to build pretty much the same PC, but im concerned that the Thermals are very high, did you already test it ? It would help me alot :) Especially the VRMs can get very hot in a Open Case like this.

No thermal issues at all! Run this thing to the max non-stop flawless card stays right around 69-70c under full load OC'd.

Hey bud great build! Must ask tho, what is that lit up RGB coil? Is that cabling?
@KnifeFiend
@KnifeFiend 3 жыл бұрын
Its the Lan-Li RGB 24-Pin Cable Extension. I have it just in one of the default RGB profiles but they are a variety of different lighting modes you can set which are pretty sweet.
@kekistanimemelord1046
@kekistanimemelord1046 3 жыл бұрын
@@KnifeFiend okay sweet! noob question on my end, what required the 24 pins versus using an 8 pin version? (mostly asking because I have a ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Hero X570 ATX Mobo and a PNY RTX 3070 GPU, and a Corsair CX750F RGB PSU and I dont know what pin type to order like a 24 or 8 pin?)
@KnifeFiend
@KnifeFiend 3 жыл бұрын
@@kekistanimemelord1046 8-Pin you could use for your GPU depending on how many you need. 24-Pin would be for your motherboard and supply power to your CPU. So it just depends on which one you want to use. I would say go with the 24-Pin because all motherboards/power supply's use this cable.

Its actually a two-step clear with hardener in the mix. Ill be fine. I have a detailer that uses this stuff on all sorts of projects/surfaces/paints never has any issues. Thick enough clear you can buff it if you wish. Ill let you know though.
