If your just getting started some cheaper hodgeman or froggtoggs bootfoot waders should get you going. If you are really into wading and do it all the time then Simms. The cheaper waders have started leaking on me after about 6 months to a year. I went through three pair of cheap ones before I finally decided to fork out the money and get Simms

Yeah that's a good idea I didn't think of that! I had to work them fast because I was in knee deep water and there was some grass. If I worked it any slower grass would get on the trebles.

U know what is crazy is that people say dont apply sunblock or mosquito spray cause it will soak in to your lures and scare fish away but sharpie has no affect on then kind of crazy

What setting on the brakes do you usually use for soft dines/corkies on your custom lite SLP? I recently bought one and man I had such bad backlashes with the brakes at 6.5-8 that I went through a spool of 30 lb braid since. Granted I like to throw right into the wind since that's how corkies/soft dines work the best. Switching from J braid to Fins Windtamer 30 to see if there's a difference and going to keep the brakes at 9-10 to see if it makes a difference.

Interesting!! Something to ponder, do you go with a knock off for the dollar saving, or go with the one that invented or started the trend and catch ability. I believe that you should pay homage to original, because without the original, and everything that goes into the original, you would never of had the knock off brand! I realize with what I said, the is a cost factor involved, but when the big box stores can copy a brand, it's like cutting the throat of.the company that is helped put the box store on the map in the first place.. Like, Walmart," yes, we would love to sell your be wonderful product, that has well made, made with non cheap parts, t he e consumers love it, so let's do business, and oh by the way, give me a ridiculously low price, so I can actually make more profit that you." Mean time product manufacturer goes bankrupt over continually being beat up by the Big box store. And yes, some would say should have never gotten in bed with them in the 1st place..just a thought

Excellent customization, and I really like the Hover Shad Softee, even with its no rattles. Cool spotting on the customs with a sharpie, and I like those gold and silver glitter models even before the spots were added.

Love the vids been fishing that spot/ area since I moved down here from Illinois 2000... and always caught trout my 2 biggest came from there 29 3/4 and 28 1/4 same wade ... I will be there this weekend maybe see ya out there somewhere
