The Jeep Wrangler YJ was the first generation of Jeep Wrangler four-wheel drive small off-road vehicles, rebadging and succeeding Jeep's CJ series, produced from 1944 to 1986. The first Wrangler (internally "YJ") was launched in 1986 and ran through 1995. Although the new Wrangler stood out by its square headlights, its body was a direct evolution of the preceding CJ-7, and rode on the same wheelbase. The Wrangler featured an updated interior, offered more comfort and improved safety and handling, through a revised chassis that included wider tracks and a slightly lower stance.

I have a 87 jeep yj right hand drive I would love to have that same dash for my Dad's Jeep. the jeep looks awesome keep up the good work.

That’s nice looking! I’m a welder and I’ve been trying to think up a custom dash. Once i decide I’ll build it. Yours turned out great. I have a mutt jeep that i built from a frame so it’s weird. All cj7 chassis, driveline, electrical and dash, but otherwise completely yj full tub, interior. It’s half and half..lol.

How did you build you center console?

Just a little sheet metal and a little time. Then we wrapped it with some cheep carbon fiber wrap for looks.

We did not. We should have. We built it out of cardboard first then took that design and bought the materials and went to work.
