Custom Dynamics ProBeam and Genesis 4 turn signals - Install and Comparison

In this video, I install the Custom Dynamics ProBeam and Genesis 4 turn signal kits on the 2015 Street Glide Special and the 2019 Road King Special. I show you how to remove the existing turn signals and install the Custom Dynamic products. Both kits are plug and play and very simple to install. Upgrading to Custom Dynamics LED turn signals is not just for looks but more importantly to keep you safe out on the road. Get lit up and be seen!

PRODUCT INFORMATION:
Custom Dynamics® Genesis® 4 LED Turn Signals offer super bright dual color LEDs on a black circuit board producing the brightest full 6000k white run light (Halo Free) with full amber turn signal on the market. 1157 pigtail bulb base for plug and play front turn signal applications. As required by Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard FMVSS108, when turn signal is activated the white DRL turns completely off providing greater visibility to the amber turn signal.
ProBEAM LED Dynamic Ringz turn signal inserts replace the factory front turn signal bulb and lens on Harley-Davidson motorcycles with bullet style turn signal housings. 1157 (US & Canada) or 1156 (International) bulb base available for plug and play installation. White outer ring illuminates as a bright white running light while the center blinks as a full contrast amber turn signal. Smoked lenses included for DOT or ECE compliance with optional upgrades to a ProBEAM® Bezel Turn Signal Lens.

I get lots of compliments on my front turn signals, especially for how visible I am from the front during the day! My Ultra Limited has 5 lights, on all the time. I actually run my bright light switch ON full time. Typically when you turn your high beams on, the side lights go off (weird if you ask me!). However, 5 minutes at Harley and they can change that setting for you so your side lights stay ON when you have your high beam headlight on. Bright headlamp on high beam, bright side lights, and both turn signals bright...all the time...A good friend once told me......"If you're lights are annoying, you are seen!"

I've got a pretty full compliment of their Pro Beam products on my 2017 SGS. I have a few video's in the system I did on this subject. Yep, you can't beat Custom Dynamics products, LED rather than Halogen is just a must have. Nice job on the presentation man👊👍

7:00 - Save 'em. If you EVER sell your bike or trade it into a dealer you can switch out the CD lights and put the halogens back in. This way you're not buying new CD lights every time. 10:15 - I have a 2016 RG CVO Ultra with these (front) lights. Don't let the dashboard turn signal indicators fool you. For some reason, my indicators flash fast at highway speeds but the actual lights flash normal (I had my wife look at the lights from her bike to confirm).

Just put these on my Road King. Let me tell you with some Wagner 4415A’s in place of my passing lamps. Then these turn signals with clear lenses. Looks outstanding. Definitely a nice vintage look.

Don’t know if I’ll ever get those for my 2010 but great presentation and if you’ve got companies sending you products for reviews you’re definitely on your way brother! Loving that intro! I prefer the smoke colored lenses but I guess they’re not really very visible. I already have the led headlights for both bikes and they’re Chinese knock-off. No problems with them yet! Custom dynamics huh 🤔? Id definitely save the original bulbs you never know if the newer ones might fail. Ahh I see now. Much better with the smoked lenses. Pretty cool bro! Thanks for sharing! Does this kit work with a 2010? I kinda doubt it because my turn signals are much bigger than those.

I do believe they make the bigger ones at least in the probeam series. Not sure about Genesis 4. But I think they are moving most of the lighting to the genesis 4.

the most simplest thing to do and having mechanics skills I still manage to fuck this up. I got the left one stuck in the wrong position. May have to replace tail light assembly

Oh man sorry to hear that. You definitely need to get it started in the correct orientation. I generally take note if the original bulbs orientation and then make sure I put the new insert in the same orientation. Hopefully you can get it out without having to replace anything. Yes there are less expensive options out there. I got a knock off tribar light early on and was extremely disappointed with the light intensity or lack there of. Ultimately I bought Custom Dynamics ProBeam tribar light and wow what a difference. So I should have paid once for a quality item instead of paying for a knock off and the Custom Dynamics product. So leason learned for me and my wallet. I was penny wise but pound foolish as they say...👍👊

Good stuff, So if I have 1157 front & 1156 rear, ( Regular 2016 Road King FLHR) will the Genesis 4 fit??

If you have 1156 and 1157 type housings then GEN 4 will fit. I thought the road kings had the pancake style signals? The best bet is to contact @customdynamics directly to get the right LED for your application. They do make LEDs for the pancake style signal housings as well. www.customdynamics.com. They still have so you can spend money on their led lights. Harley has their own led lights and Custom Dynamic lights.
