Custom Fender Lights [Don't Break Your Fender Flare]

The 2023 Canyon and even contemporary Sierra fender lights leave a bit to be desired. They don't light up all the way across and are kinda gaudy if you ask me....but nobody did.
I wanted to carry the theme of black and blue around the truck and those amber lights had to go. Options on Etsy were over $400 and I didn't just want to add some tint film or a sticker to them.
I tracked down some smoked lights off Amazon (link below) and selected the white flavor. You can also get red/amber as an option as well. They also come in clear lenses so no matter what color your truck is and what you want they have a set of lights to fit the theme of your truck.
While there are other brands like Diode Dynamics, Boost Auto, Midsouth, GoRecon and others making similar lights, I'm on a budget and wanted to see just what kind of quality can be had for around $50. So far they look sick.

*** At this moment I am cautioning you guys against these fender lights. I have 2 chips or separate boards that are now out and need replacing in less than 3 months. I am, however, leaving the link so that you know you are purchasing at your own risk. I will say the vendor was very eager to send me out 2 new replacement lights and apologized for their failure.

1/4” ratchet with 8mm socket… push the socket over the clips from the backside (inside the fender well). Slight pull on the plastic trim… Will pop right out 👍

The issue is the fender lining is tucked into the flares so you cant remove it to gain access to the clips. You can get to some but not all of them

I've done the front without removing the fender but i had to do it for the back. Broke some clip on the first side but figure the trick for the second side 😅

I’m thinking with all the chances(more likely than not) to break clips. I’ll prob just get an overlay.

Yeah, especially if you don't intend the change the lights do that.

I had some smoked Vinyl scraps from a previous project and Just did that, though thinking maybe some switchback ones later on. Though what I really want to find (haven't had any luck yet) is a bull bar.. I also think I should have gotten that additional technology package :(

A little super glue and no need to use the soldering iron.
