Came out great. It’s important to show people the reality of what it takes to make something truly custom.

I haven't been over at your shop in a while because I have been busy with other things. You know how it is. You have come along way. You have a shop packed with new tools, shop supplies and Machines. Good for you. Thanks for sharing.👍👍😷

I like that you shared the Fu## ups, most won't. It tells me you don't care what people think you just put your work out there. I admire that in a world of KZbinrs that edit their content so everyone thinks they are Chip Foose. Even Chip isn't perfect and he will be the first to say so. Nice job!!!! Thanks for taking the time.

I appreciate you showing your craft. All these "professionals" just show the finished product so they don't give up industry secrets. I know how hard it is to conform steel to an idea. That turned out soo sick, it looks like a WWII Bomber dash.

This is one of the best videos on designing and building a rod. Sometimes what you do just don't look right, and you got to start over. This is very rarely seen on youtube, but it happens every now and then, especially when you really go out there and make an own design or detail. This is not going to happen if you build a 1932 Ford with an Auburn instrumentpanel, and exactly this is why I like outside the box builds like the 1937 rat rod. Thumbs up!

Quite honestly was disappointed in dash design kind of blahs. We I'm a idiot your gauge design and layout takes it to another level so glad I didn't leave a stupid comment earlier. Great work!!!
@morgansword4 жыл бұрын
You may have a pile of dreams on the floor but before anything is done it usually looks bad before great. I would take old gauges from the collection of never will use pile and place them in the holes and see if you don't just have some panels other only dream of making near that good. Just cause you're not digging it doesn't mean it ain't someone else's jam. You're the worst enemy you have and it costs money so reclaim it in maybe you will like what gives so far. I took a dash apart in a K.W. and then took my square body dash completely out and fabbed it in. And if you go with something temp another idea will come eternal and save the day. I know, it's easy for me to say but its true. Only masochists get pleasure from screwing up. I use them for learning and you will admit this is not the dash that you had in your head when starting. I put a complete cut to fit custom 64 buick wildcat dash in a model A roadster and under that hood laid that 326 with three deuces hidden from others till smoking most all around... there is always someone faster/LOL.
@juanbarturen27262 жыл бұрын
Wow. I feel your pain. I have been going thru a similar experience. I have a 54 Chevy truck.aka Ol' Beater. I bought a speedometer, and a tachometer, smaller radius than the original. I want to make a panel over the dash, but joining both holes over the steering column. I'm thinking an aluminum plate. Oh well .see ya
