I would also recommend taking you mags apart & spray the Mag body & Mag Spring with Liquid Graphite (Pencil Lead). Make the mags run super smooth. I do this to ALL of my mags & have had Zero Malfunctions in my S15's. Just a suggestion.

I have bought 2 of the gen 2 S15 mags and the Shield Arms' own steel mag catch. Each mag I've tested with defense loads, there was 1 failure to feed, which was solved with a tap and rack. From then on, I had ZERO malfunctions with at least 2 more fully loaded mags +1 in the chamber of assorted defense loads and then over 300 rounds of assorted FMJs. So far, I'm happy with what I got. I may get a 3rd S15 mag with the 5 round extension or giggles

@@jamesmoore8873 I have went through multiple different sets of sights, both regular height and suppressor height on my non MOS 43x, not sure why others are saying it has to be the MOS version, it's simply not the case. The only difference between MOS and non is the ability to run an optic, and the added MOS rail for the ability to run accessories on the MOS. You can 100% add suppressor height sights on both the 43x and 43x MOS.

The screw affecting the extractor problem was the same thing that happened to me on my P80 g19, it made sense after I looked at it in more detail but thank god it wasn’t something else! Glad I wasn’t the only one with this issue! 😅

I have the exact same 43X MOS build except I run an Agency Arms premier line threaded barrel. I love the Johnny Glocks Combat system and the Vex shoe. Definitely takes some getting used to but it's about as good as a Glock trigger can be. I dig the Goon Tape on the Talon grip, I might steal that look!

Glad to hear someone got the S15 mags to work. I picked up 3 along with the premium mag catch. And had nothing but problems just function testing them with SnapCaps. My problem with them was that the mag follower was not probably interfacing with the slide stop/release. Causing misfeeds, jamming and failure to lock open on the last round. Also the geometry of the magazine just seemed off to me. It didn't properly fit in the magazine well, seemed to loose and rattled around. But I was able to return everything and get most of my money back. hopefully they'll do an update in address the problems people are having. Cuz I really wanted these things to work... O well, Factory mags and plus threes from the Glock Store are working just fine.

Likewise I had the same issues with mine and I wasn’t able to return them bc I actually shot rounds through them and I sent them back to get tested and of course SA said they were fine and sent them back to me. I sold them and sticking with OEM just carry another mag.

I had the same problems, as bad as I want to use my s15 mags but everytime I hit the range I have malfunctions. I'm going back to oem. I'm comfortable with ten rounds that works all the time.

Best channel ever!! 👊I had the same issue with my Glock 22 when i swapped the original mag-release button with a new one built in alluminum. It destroyed the magazine-cacth in both my magazines, so i needed to buy two new magazines. Actually i'm running the Strike Industries polymer mag-release button, it works and feels great, without having any type of issues :)

I had the same issues with the s15 mags and shield sent me the premium mag release and it solved the problem the s15 mags have been flawless since the switch

I don't think it's the mag release that's causing the malfunction. I had the standard steel release and fired the 2 OEM Glock mags in it with no malfunction. The mag release is only meant to hold the mag and drop it free.

I was starting to get excited to hear a fix for my shield arms mags constantly jamming…. But I don’t even have an optic or an MOS for that matter and mine still jam at least twice per mag. Going back to OEM and giving PsA dagger mags a try.

Unfortunately my distributors don't have any 43X MOS's in stock which stinks but hopefully I'll be able to build one soon because I love the premise of a subcompact with the ability to shoot silenced. I’ve been carrying a 43x for 5months now and I like it. I don’t like the 10+1 capacity and i was considering the shield arms mags but they are unreliable :( . So I got a Glock +3 extension. Ive shot 500+ rounds thru it and the thin handle made it difficult to get a good grip so…talon grips! The 19x feels way better in hand and while shooting than the 43x imo. I could only imagine that the Glock26 feels the same or if not close to the same as the 19x. I think a 26 with a extension would better suit my needs/wants 😂

Honestly the Glock 26 with the plus 2 is a really good option for carry. I would prefer it over the 43X simply because it’s reliable. The shield arms mags have issues and I don’t feel comfortable carrying a mag that I can’t trust my life with.

Great and fun stuff! We should advise people not to mess with the factory settings if 43x will be their edc, don't fix what's not broken...and that thin baby is the best Micro-subcompact outhere! I've used only johnny's conector, and it made a world of difference while keeping 100% reliability.

Night fission has very good customer service, I bought a used Glock 19x that had NF sights on it, that night I noticed one of the rear dots was dead, I contacted them, they asked for pics and sent me a new rear sight free within a few weeks

I wouldn't get the sheild mags because if you use this for personal protection it could malfunction. Glock makes a extension for a 4 plus round but for me I wouldn't need a full magazine anyways. If you need more than a full magazine you better practice.

Goon tape is awesome, but if you grip like I do, the glue squeezes through the pores of the tape and eventually sticks to my hands. So, I've tried kinesiotape and it's more spongy and durable than the goon tape. Try it out and tell me what you think. Mueller is a great brand for cheap at Walmart.

God I wish I could get the s15 mags to work. Running a completely stock G43x MOS with the metal mag catch and I couldn't get through a single mag without a jam or misfeed. Had to just go back to OEM mags :(
