I was so jealous of a buddy that got everything he wanted,,, we were not rich but he got the green master w white mags and damn that bike was so cool. So in 2016 they ran the green Haro master again and I got one now,, built the way I wanted it and better. Not so jealous anymore, he has been gone now for about 16 years and still always remember him and envy him and never told him RIP Keith T

Timothy Cote ::::: thanks for askin..... i have lost quite a few friends from that Era and yeah drugs seem to be the demon ... but that buddy just had a night out w wife from the kids and when they got home he sat in the car for a few and told his wife to go on in....... well I guess she fell asleep and awoke a couple hours later and seen he wasn’t in bed yet went to check on him and I guess found him setting there where she left him.... natural causes I guess.... we never know when we are going so just live Day to Day the best ya can.....✌🏼

Wow just what I had back in the day, but with no flight crank and fork stands that did not fold down. The looks I used to get with that Haro Master, I had the white Haro Sport and a lighter green Master I miss those bikes for sure. Time to get a reproduction of some sort....!!!

Man this brings back memories. I always wanted a bike like the ones you build. I loved GT and Dyno they were so expensive back then. I also didn't realise now when I look at these bikes how small they are. Still want one though.

8:27 “With the switch”? lol! Those are called: Tech-77 locking levers. I had them on my green Haro Master back in the 80’s.

Put the rear caliper on before the chain to position the wheel properly, put the front pegs in before the front wheel.. and finally get the front wheel the correct way round!

I know that haro makes a new freestyler that has a mid bottom bracket, 1 1/8 integrated headtube, and 990 mounts, also skyway has mags with sealed bearings a rear 14mm axle and 9t cassette, have you considered building one with all modern components?

Blue A'me tri grips, white tuffs, blue dia-compe hinge seat post clamp, all chrome front sprocket, MKS pedals, and white dominator seat would have been my choice of colors and parts. Other than that nice build.

The 1984 haro front forks had the pegs that flipped up and down and they were curved and they fit around the forks
