This is a custom-made elevator that I made for my 2022 Halloween home haunt. It was a massive project. I spent way too much time and money on this thing. Tears were shed, and literal blood was spilled to bring it to life.

I'm sorry for the delayed response. I got the air springs and solenoids from Amazon. Links below. I used two 21 gallon compressors, but they were used for more than just the elevator. Since this is an industrial elevator, We ask that you use caution when riding. You might find it interesting to know that this exact elevator shaft has been in place for almost a century discovered long before Kennywood was ever built. Sealed shut for nearly 50 years. No one has actually gone down under the shaft.....

Another question. How do you control the amount of incoming air for each bag?

I don't have much control over the airflow into the air springs with this setup. It is basically inflate or deflate. You can control the amount of pressure coming in using your compressor gauge. I'm sure you could get more control if you needed it for your project.

Will the airbags respond quickly enough on valves with 1/4” tubing? My friend suggested that, so I bought solenoids with 1/4” ports but now I’m worrying if those would deflate fast enough.

Sorry, just saw this. I am skeptical that 1/4" will give you enough air. Only one way to find out!
