I love when you put new videos up! The editing is so well done and so much thought put into it! And you are such an interesting character that without you it wouldn't be the same. All around your my favorite overland KZbinr, and I hope it will only get better! Wish I was in your shoes, but in this world. Money is what makes it go round. And I only have enough, just to make ends meet. But hopefully one day in this short life I have on this Earth. I will be able to have as much fun, and do as many cool things you do that I get to at least enjoy watching. Thank you for such an awesome job and the lil bit of heaven i can dream of doing watching your vids. God bless!

We got the ICON suspension on our trailer as well, just picked up the new beast from Dave and the gang this past Friday evening. We're looking forward to breaking it in over 10 days and ~2000 miles starting this Thursday morning!

That’s neat. It’s almost like watching a trophy truck going trough desert bumps with all the suspension travel. But at a lower speed. That’s cool!!!

Hole in the rock road nearly rattled my minivan into a thousand pieces... it's really one of the reasons I want to get something with better suspension that can haul my family as our next vehicle... trying to talk my wife into a 4runner, but she will always want more space. I may need to get into something older as a secondary vehicle to get into overlanding.

Nearly every camper trailer in Australia has independent suspension.
@funkydodo1496 жыл бұрын
Independent suspension is nothing new to the off road trailer and caravan industry. Independent suspension is been used for many years on brand names like Patriot Campers Australia and Conqueror South Africa, both companies are industry leaders in off road trailers till current date. Conqueror South Africa use independent suspension on their off road caravans and some of their off road trailers as well. I do agree independent suspension is awesome to have on a off road trailer/caravan!!!

Very exciting ,I like the set up,I'm going Stir Crazy waiting for my icon suspension, I have everything but the rear resi shocks. Would you suggest the hydraulic bump stops? Also,icon stated they shipped the coilovers for the front with 2 inches of lift, did you crank yours up higher in case you wanted to run larger tires in the future?

What is the water that comes out of the pipe underneath your trailer?
@MaximeLiscourt6 жыл бұрын
I’m curious to know as well.
@SwellRunner6 жыл бұрын
That’s the drain pipe for the sink. Sometimes after things move around or you get rolling trapped water in the piping comes out

Independent suspension is available on other trailers - Off Grid of Alberta Canada is one example. Will not look at another of Jk’s video’s as I am tired of product sales and excessively long descriptions.

Hey Jason truly enjoy your videos. Keep up the great work. This suspension system has been around for some time originated in Australia and I believe the company is called cruise master. That was brought here by patriot campers. cruisemaster.com.au/ found the link so you can check it. Once again keep it going man.

Sorry. Love this channel. But gotta call you out on this. This has been done before. This is not a unique set up. Credit should be given to the Aussie engineers who originated this design many years ago. Anyway. Love the trips you take with your Turtleback and I will keep an eye out for more of them.

Firstly great video, Secondly, won't the exposed shock absorber shaft pick up all the debris and dust up off the road and wear out the seal into the main unit??? Surely it needs a rubber boot around it to give it a chance of reliability. Thirdly what happens if you break a spring miles from nowhere, do they give you some sort of elastomer block to support the weight of the trailer and stop the two parts of the suspension smashing together as you try to get home. Fourthly, very jealous of your pool.

I’ve seen every video of yours and honest feedback is that I’m getting a bit worn out on product videos that feel like sponsored plugs without a disclaimer. I hope you get back to overlanding/outdoor videos soon since I sub’d for those, not sponsored gear publicity.
@NigelNaughton6 жыл бұрын
This whole "overanding" thing has become a huge joke! It used to be have a capable (or not so capable) rig, some gear and get out and explore. Now it's frickn upgraded suspension on an already expensive trailer?!! WTF! really! Let's see how "cool" I can look! Let's see how much crap I can buy! Let's see how 'close to home comfort' I can be! Oh...and I will make videos about it and have you all please support this lifestyle. IMHO kinda stupid.
