This Jeep Wrangler JL Diesel has a long-arm lift. Diesel lifts are different because of the change in the weight and the new location of the gas tank. Watch this video to tell you what to look for in a lift. This customer wanted just a few changes that would really make heads turn. We re-geared it to 4.46 ratio gears because this guy is running 38" tires!

I had the chance to talk with the owner a couple weeks ago. Great guy. That thing is SICK in person! I saw him at a park. It was crazy to hear what he gets for fuel mileage with the diesel even with those monster tires! Nice work on it. ;) Glad I found the video! Now I have a build list so you can do it again lol

What are the RPMs at 70 with the 4.56 on the diesel? Are the stock brakes able to hold the jeep back with the 4-1 and diesel? Truss on front? RCVs? Thanks

I cant speak to regeared ecodiesel wranglers but only my stock gearing ecodiesel rubicon. In 4 low, and in first gear, you really do need to be hard on the brakes to keep it from moving. Not incredibly hard, but it definitely requires more effort vs say a gas rubicon. The brakes are adequate no doubt, but with the 4:1 tcase and all that low end torque it requires a bit of effort

Do you all do anything to combat the over heating/de-tunning issue that jeep does not seem to have a fix for? It seems to be a problem with the 3.0 eco only. I know it has to deal with the transmission temps.

That’s interesting, I’ve never seen my gas auto go over 210f on the trans. I hate that the engine goes over 220f before the fan kicks on, but has no issues keeping thermals in check.
