I’m surprised the Starship Pheonix wasn’t made into a map. It didn’t have to be like the actual HUB, but a variation of it. That would have been interesting.

I wish the RC online community was a bit bigger, would've loved to play this. When the PS3 HD remasterd were released there were only a handful of people online :(

If insomniac wanted RaC to be successful online, they should make a stand-alone online game, focus purely on making it the best online multiplayer Ratchet & Clank game, focus on making awesome game modes and gameplay mechanics. The current online RaC multiplayer games just feel tacky

@RC Lombax plz no. That's what they done to Qforce and it sucked a big time. In fact a lot of people would want multiplayer to be a mere side-kick bonus to mess around with other guys\fans when you're completely beat the solo game. UYA had great combo of good singleplayer game along with nice bonus multiplayer game. Too bad I never had luck to try it's MP though. :( It looks good tho.

Arch-Vile This. You’re right it almost needs to be a side thing. I played online back on Ps2 days UYA online was amazing, nothing like it. It has its own spin on a third person shooter. Would love to see something come on the ps5 but very doubtful. They tried addressing online heavier with deadlocked and it did so bad they left multiplayer..UYA did it right. If Rift Apart has a side multiplayer like UYA it would be insanely fun in this day and age.

@@DeadFlowerBlues exactly. Deadlocker mp is overrsted, it feels too stiff and arena-fixated, and guns aren't as fun like in UYA, like volcano gun.

@@arch-vile118 QForce, I actually really liked that one. Played the whole game coop, although short. Not bad. But to be fair I never really liked the future series and the constant return of the same weapons on each sequel. They were more innovative in the PS2 days. Even the godawful remake had future weapons, and ofcourse the highly overrated annoying Mr. Zurkon. Yuk.

Yea, the files are a little different in the HD Collection, making them easier to disassemble and edit! There is a level editor but I don't think its publicly available for everyone.

Why you people just don't try to mod the PS2 beta version of Ratchet 3? I think files in that version are moddable too, I extracted all the audio and scripts (which are pretty much like the final game, except for Italian language) without problems from there.

I don't have a PS3 but how were the maps edited? I mean there are some programs that can be used to displace or add meshes, but what about the ocean in R&C2 maps, for example? How were these made?

Why did the weapon icons change when you were in the Deadlocked map, exactly? What are the weapon icons for the RC3 weapons in that map? (Is the Lava Gun something with a very different icon that doesn't make sense or is it the one in RC3?)

Prob late to reply but... The dev team was divided and they werent really communicating as much about what thry were up to. There is like a podcast where two of the devs who worked on the RaC games talk about their experiences... its called useless podcasts (in this case add RaC 3 [UYA])

Atleast in deadlocked’s version of custom notak there is an awesome Easter egg granting a custom weapon called the infinity gauntlet. Obviously a marvel reference but in game in had heaps of glowing effects aswell as all 3 of the animal weapons spawning their respective animals at once

First thing first, you need the digital copy of the game OR you can use multiman to backup the disc to your HDD, once you've done that just download the maps here www.dropbox.com/s/krpq8nddmr09603/UYA%20maps.rar?dl=0 and place them into the UYA directory that has all of the other levels, you should now be able to join other players that have these maps installed, if you want to host the maps then you need to find the level ID address for UYA Online
