Number one in around 1000 videos watched so far and my only request would be a bit of chat about everything used during prep and also paint, paint mixing, and spray guns used to do a job of this standard but probably nowhere near as good for us none pros like yourself. And so by watching this video, I am supposed to know how to paint a bike and what to use? What did you spray the bike with when it was bare metal? what was the file thing you used at the beginning? If anything, this video leaves me with more questions than answers. Thanks well done video on watching a guy paint a bike and not learning SHIT
@VeloveWarszawa3 жыл бұрын
so I'm a bike painter and not a youtuber (yet)... I know that one could wish more details and I plan on making more and more videos, where I will explain more stuff. I used a file to take off all high spots and bare metal was sprayed with an epoxy primer (I find them very durable, compared to acrylic ones).

Could give me a tip? I want to paint my bike (one color only) but apply a water transfer sticker before vanish. Does vanish destroy the sticker? Whch other sticker material do you recommend?
@VeloveWarszawa4 жыл бұрын
I don't use stickers at all, but from previous experience they usually mess up the clear coat after a season or two. Water transfer stickers work only from good quality brands and they hold the clear coat really well. The only problem with them is that you need to have a special printer - laser one that prints also white colour.

The bike is solid and my Ebike conversion went great. kzbin.infoUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L Very smooth ride at 30mph with no problems (135 miles ridden so far). The picture is a bit deceiving - there is WAY less space in the center of the frame than it shows. The suspension connection takes up the entire thing. So I needed to attach my battery on the bottom of the frame and my controller on the top. Instructions for assembly were lacking but honestly it wasn't too hard to figure out even though I have very little bike knowledge. Watched some youtube videos on adjusting the disk brakes but that was it. Still, I am loving it and very happy with the purchase.
