Was hoping I’d find a good DIY wrench organizer on KZbin and here it is. Simple and easy but looks great. Really appreciate you putting this up, Rob.

Thanks for sharing this. I like your attention to detail and the finished product looks really good. I have several toolboxes with tools but I definitely like the pegboard solution for easily seeing wrenches, screwdrivers, etc. Definitely will be checking out more videos of yours. Make it a great day!

Couldn't have asked for better teaching video and the product was not only doable for even me but professional looking. Way to go Rob!! Pay no attention to critical "ones" as they make more mistakes than you'll ever know. Can't wait to see what else you have going. Really like your miter saw bench, wish I had the room for it. I have to go crazy making a portable one for a 12x11 tool room. Coulda been 12x10 so not complaining lol. Anyway.... I'm a thank'en ya ;)

Listening to this dude, I thought I was watching Bob Ross. His inflection is so much like his... "And were going to put a few Happy little wrenches here." Good video guy.

What a craftsman… For lazy and unskilled like me, I would just nail a piece of wood through the pegboard then screw all the wrenches accordingly to the space needed. By no means, I learned the whole lot from you. Thank you for the tutorial.

Nothing wrong with screws in OSB. That’s one of my favourite ways to organize.

I might try to make this, I’ve never really liked hanging wrench’s on pegboard hooks it takes up to much space. Thinking of making the top shelf stick out a little more and drilling holes for screwdrivers somehow. Anyway yours looks great, thanks for your time and knowledge

That's a great idea integrating the screwdriver holder with the wrenches! Here's my screwdriver video. You may want to use a thicker top piece so the screwdrivers don't lean over. Post a how to video on your channel. I haven't seen anything like that and it's sure to get a ton of views! kzbin.info/www/bejne/aGjZaoqgo7argLc

I have basically the same set up as you do but I just hang mine off pegboard. I like your way a lot better I think I have to build one. I like to be able to find my wrenches By sight instead of in a drawer. Good idea thanks for sharing.

Love the idea could be useful for other tools too, the tool box foam video you made is what works best for me. Running low on wall space... lol

Yes wall space is at a premium in the shop! Did you finish your routed foam tool holder? Did that work?

@@robsgaragewoodworkin thank you very much, now have some homework for the week-end... hahaha, happy labor day....
Use whatever is cheap and looks good. I used knotty pine shelf board. If you have a shorter wrench set you may be able to repurpose lumber from a skid. Free is the cheapest 😉. Best of luck!

what about open ended wrenches and flare wrenches?
@robsgaragewoodworkin2 жыл бұрын
You can buy those metal wrench holders that hold the wrenches on a 45* angle. They can be mounted in a tool box or hanging on the wall. They excel at tool density and are extremely economical (I got some from Princess Auto). But this is what I made recently. kzbin.info/www/bejne/oHPCmGuBoLelqZY

Looks good, but I just have one question (and forgive me if it comes off critical): Why not make this same thing to just go on bare wall and save the space on the pegboard for something that needs to hang on peg hooks?
@robsgaragewoodworkin Жыл бұрын
You can mount an organizer like this right on OSB, on pegboard or on French cleats. You can move it around when you add tools. This is a long wrench set and I also have a long gear wrench set. It took up a lot of space so I ended up doing this -> kzbin.info/www/bejne/iJ69oX1nbtV3ebcsi=x1qhhPl42DdDAscr
