That is incredible! Thanks for sharing your process. 😮❤❤❤ Have you ever tooled leather? It really does look like it. I love the foot and the shape of that mug as well. It looks like you may have used an extruder for your handle ? I am super impressed that this is your second job and you have children as well. Superwoman should be your nickname. LOL

As a leather worker and newbie potter, u nailed this design so amazingly. Especially if u have never done leather tooling designs before, and this is ur first one. This is such a beautiful mug. Very very nice.

I have been following you since your first video. (I miss your adorable "helpers"). It has been wonderful watching your talent grow by leaps and bounds in so short a time. Could you please tell me what kind of a 3D printer you use?
@moreldesigns2674Ай бұрын
Oh my, you deserve an award for that lol. Thank you so much! The kids have grown tired of pottery haha. They still come out from time to time but not as much as I’d like. I have an Ender 3 Pro. I found it brand new on Facebook marketplace for $100 (a steal)

Wow you’re so talented! Love this process and of course the finished product will be gorgeous! Do you make these mugs extra thick?
@moreldesigns2674Ай бұрын
These are not super thick, no. Using this rib was hard because I was throwing my normal thickness, next time I’ll throw thicker walls so it’s easier to use the rib. But as far as carving, I’m not really taking out much thickness. But obviously you’d want to be careful not to carve through the cup

Absolutely beautiful!!! How do you price this type of item? So much love & time is spent on the carving alone!
@moreldesigns2674Ай бұрын
Honestly, pricing is the hardest part. I’ve just starting trying to use a formula. Since I filmed this I know it took me about 2 hours from throwing, to carving. Then I’ll add time for glazing and finishing the piece. I’ll also have to add time for designing and printing their logos on the 3d printed. I’ll have an hourly wage, plus materials, then round up a bit. This mug will be for sale for $85 each. There are people who would charge a lot more, but I wouldn’t feel right about it. It baffles me that people will pay that much lol. I’m amazed by people like silver lining ceramics, she charges hundreds for one of her mugs (and they are gorgeous!). It’s hard to find that market. Unless you’re famous on social media, which I can’t seem to figure out, or have the time for lol.

Dang so beautiful! Do you use capcut and an overhead camera stand to make your videos?

Yeah I have an overhead arm that holds my phone. And I use CapCut for editing.
