You're the winner in a close contest. 164 did some extra work with the engine swap, but I don't like the cartoon motor or the giant plug wires. Your extra work came with the axle tubes which goes unseen. I reckon you're right, the front wheels are too big, but so are his. Once again, the paint gives you the win. I like a model to look realistic and there, you win again. A bit of engine detailing with paint and more realistic ignition wires is simple and would look great on the exposed engine. Beautiful job. Love the axle idea. I always cut the pluger at the top into two pieces on those two-part epoxy dispensers. Then I can regulate the pressure better by squeezing one side at a time. Otherwise, way too much of one side comes out and is wasted.

Sweet color choice. Never would of thought that dirt track brown would look so good. Have you considered in investing in rub & buff for the grills. Once painted back just the smallest amount rubbed over the grill will highlight the mold and make the grills pop.

I found him to be a well worthy adversary. He got you on motor modification and paint scheme but had flaws in his paint separation edges ....winner Draw. Jimmy would drive both cars.

my favorite car on your channel so far. when will you do some custom rat rods? you had one from that bunch of old redlines,,, which just had that perfect "patina thing" going on...just needed a clearcoat to seal up original paint.

Great customs by both. I like Diecast Rez's paint lines better tho, cuz they catch the fairness of the body line. Beautiful paint by both. I am gonna go with the DR on this one because I can't imagine driving a car around that I can't see past the engine in, lol!! This car came out really nice! I would love to send u my 1969 Red Baron to u to get it in mint condition. It's not tht bad of shape. It's rare I believe since it has the white interior and not the usual black. I wanna preserve it for a long time in a see thru case.
