How does Cloud's finishing touch work? The damage feels random everytime I pull it off. Do you need to be point blank next to the character once you let it rip?

It always deals 1% but it has pretty high knock back, and yeah you pretty much have to be directly next to your opponent in order to hit it

It also hits pretty far above him, very similar hitbox to upsmash. It doesn't kill as early as it feels like it should honestly, typically start taking stocks at 50ish on the lighter guys. Sour spot up air and uptilt combo into it btw, but the uptilt combo is tiiiiiight on the timing and can be DI'd
