When I use the spline and mask to path and export the sbsar file to clo3d, it does not work and exits the application, while previous versions worked well. Please solve this problem.

the perforation in the honeycomb leather has inverted normals. You can see it because the outside of the outside of the whols are going upwards and cathing lights. They shoud go inwards, because of stamping them out in real life.
@louisemelin1129
@louisemelin1129 11 ай бұрын
It depends on how the leather was punched, this example is a superposition of two layers of leather, the stamping could have happened from the other side and it just adds a nice little highlight to the material in my opinion :)
@foshizzlfizzl
@foshizzlfizzl 11 ай бұрын
@@louisemelin1129you can do the same by creating a falloff mask at the borders to to create light edges on the inside. You are not doing the stamping on outwards.. At least all the samples I have in my office, are not having this kind of, in my opinion, wrong behavior. But don't get me wrong it's just a detail and an issue we had in the past in production for BMW for example, and we corrected it by checking out photo references.
@louisemelin1129
@louisemelin1129 11 ай бұрын
@@foshizzlfizzl sure :) this example doesn't follow any specific reference though so don't take it too seriously, it's just meant as a practice for stitching.

I really wish if you’re not going to show how to make some of the effects you show in the video you would at least link to where we can learn about them. How am I supposed to practice with creating stitching like this if I have no idea how to make that stitching in the first place? Adobe tutorials leave out so much important information 😢

@@DaDarkDragon Not all the nodes, and you can't see the settings in the nodes from the outside. That's the point, I'm trying to learn the software better! This channel is made by the people who MADE THE SOFTWARE. Of course I can complain they aren't explaining more about their OWN software.
