What size are the wheels? Could you go wider you think?

The rear is as wide as it goes (2.5") and if I went any wider, I would have to dish the wheel to make it fit (milk racing makes a 3" rear wheel). The front could be wider (1.85) but I didn't see the need to add the additional weight. I think the front could probably fit a 2.5" as well.

What spokes do you use? Also how do you know what gauge to get brotha? It’s hard to find hubs and spokes.

On Surron you can run 9,10 or 12 gauge (12 is the stock size). I’m running 10 gauge from Buchanan’s spokes in California. You simply send them your measurements and they send you the proper length of spokes and nipples based on the spoke holes of the rims. For hubs, there are a few retailers in the United States that have them in stock but if you want to save money you can go directly to China (alibaba) but you’ll have to wait some time,

I never did a range test since throwing on the sumos but I will soon - actually a dang good idea for a video so thanks😂😂 I’m the worst with riding gear bro. I’m so comfortable on these bikes that all I use is my helmet & gloves.

@@datrill1000 the Eride pro is 5mph faster stock. 79bikes new version is also much faster than the Eride and the Rerode. The Rerode is faster than the light bee, xxx and the mx4 but the new mx5 will be faster than the Rerode. But no bike at the 3500$ mark is faster than the Rerode as far as I know. Always will respond if I can bro🙏🏽

To each their own but with much cheaper options and less hassle I just don't see the point. They look sick though! I love the color.

Definitely cheaper options with less work out there. You can get some Chinese builds (like milk racing, or others for a hundred or two less) that'll definitely get the job done. But there are more expensive options, like warp9 for just a little more.
