Looks great, that headlight really does go with the look of bike.

I want you to know that your build is one of the better Cafe Racer build out there. There aren't that many out there that are 10/10 and I can see this one being one. The lines are perfect. Everything is proportionate and aesthetic!

Been really enjoying your vids on the SV650 and this GS750. This build is nuts, looks so sick from the side. The profile, wheels and your design and fab work. Just incredible!

Where did you get the headlight from ? Looks great, you wouldn’t run a newer motor like a cb500R ?
@Benji...2 жыл бұрын
Headlight is from Purpose Built Moto. A newer motor would be nice but you've got to draw the line somewhere I guess

Cracking looking bike my only criticism is it should have rentals instead of clipons just my opinion

love the videos lots of useful ideas appreciate it, i was wondering if i could get some info related to something you mentioned in an earlier video, the gap in the swing arm what did you do to keep the bearings in place, ran into that issue myself and am trying to figure something out, appreciate any help Cheers!
@Benji...2 жыл бұрын
I actually am just about to start on that, I'll likely cut a piece of tube to fill that gab and then run supports up to the frame like an X-brace
@atl3072 жыл бұрын
@@Benji... that was similar to my idea, how well did your wheel line up mine is slightly off center, I’m using a swing arm off a hawk 650
@atl3072 жыл бұрын
On mine I mainly have to figure out bearings and such so that will be fun, didn’t come with everything there
@rustycopperpot2 жыл бұрын
it doesn't need to be copper to go behind the gap you need to weld up, aluminium works as well.

Hey man! Amazing job! I’ve been following your build since I have a similar bike GS650 and love the way you build the rear. I wanted to convert to monoshock as well but mine is shaft end drive. Any advice or suggestion for the geometric monoshock transformation? Can't wait to see the final results! Cheers!
@Benji...2 жыл бұрын
Hey Erwin, sorry I'm not too familiar with the shaft drive setup and how you would convert it sorry. Wish I could be more help, all the best though!

Sickest build I’ve seen the attention to detail the amount of research to the way you leveled everything on the table very entertaining and educational this definitely inspired me for my 83 vt500 build I’ve never ridden before or worked on a bike but I’m super hyped from this series thank you @benjiv

You should have filled that rear tail light pipe with epoxy and just cut it out, (escape all the welding.)
