Custom Taunt Mod tutorial [Outdated]

There was an update on Custom Taunt Mod. So, you don't need to look for the "Custom Taunt Mod supported" in the description anymore, it should work with all playermodel now. But still you need to watch out about the other animation addons that replaces the f_anm.mdl and m_anm.mdl. These addons may conflict with Custom Taunt Mod and won't work!

How can i find out what file replaces the needed file to run this mod? Do i type it on the console to find it?

@@manuelkfc7916 It depends on some addons, that do animation with your playermodel. Sadly I don't know how to find out which addon replaces the custom taunt mod but the warning was written in description of this mod.

@@armyhd7636 I found my fix, apparently it was conflicting with wOS, even thought it had the compatible patch, there's no music but at least i got the funny moves. But question, i tried Custom Taunt with random PMs and it worked, but then i tried a PM that has "Custom Taunt Support" on its addon description and even so the taunts don't work on it, any idea why even tho it sounds contradictory?

@@armyhd7636 The Hololive Okayu model that has "Custom Taunt Support" included apparently. But it only changes the camera and does nothing or even nothing happens at all. And whenever it has the "support tag" or not, Custom Taunt doesn't work on any female models at all. Because i tried it with another "Custom Taunt Support" of a male PM and it worked nicely. I suppose it has something to do with bones or complicated details on female ragdolls or other mods involving female PMs, idk?

Only the "act dance" and "act laugh" commands works for me. i have about 500 mods installed, i don't think it's possible to know which addons conflict with custom taunt, and thanks for the video man!

I installed the addon but the dances don't come out with sound. Even typing !dance in chat and using the key command. Can someone help me solve this?

Skip the advance tab and try binding your console button. Facepunch has changed the settings a little

Have you checked gmod for corrupted files? You can do that by Right click Garry's Mod in your Library >> Properties >> Local Files >> Verify Integrity If this still doesn't work try isolate the addon that might cause it. More I can not help unfortunately

Well, it's better if you asked the author of this mod but you can't really add a custom dance/music, because you need the animation, programing and more stuff to do it.

Hey there, I saw you had a ULX admin commands mod installed. But I found that ULX breaks a lot of addons including this one. How did you get it to work both, maybe you know this one?

Well on my gmod, its working perfectly fine with ULX, maybe an addon in your gmod caused this problem even its deactivated. It may conflict it. I would prefer to deactivate all addons and only activate them if you think it doesn't harm with Custom Taunt Mod, maybe you will find one.

Yes it is possible, but you need to change the qc file of the Playermodel. How it really works... You need to find it out yourself. You need a software called Crowbar to recompile the playermodel and get the qc file. Then you add: $includemodel "player/dewobedil/mmd/custom_animation_male.mdl" (for males) in the file and compile it. If you don't really know what Im talking about, watch some tutorials about compile and recompile playermodels and how you get the qc file or ask the creator to put that in.

There is an addon called "Easy animation tool". With this tool you can set up animation to ragdolls or npcs. Not sure how, but you need to figured out.
